DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Honestly, I wish I I could give it zero stars!! This place is not very diversified and if you are Hispanic/Latino they like to talk down on people and discriminate. I went to this place because it had such positive reviews online but I left extremely disappointed and hurt. I would've never imagined that I was going to leave this place feeling worst than how I went in. I wanted to have a girl's date with my sister but as soon as we walked in a lady that was doing hair asked us if we spoke English when it was obvious we did because we communicated in English the whole time. After that, she said she was not going to provided services for us because we speak Spanish and she speaks English. Come on! We spoke English the whole time and she had to ask twice if we spoke English with such a nasty attitude. We got denied services here in TEXAS for looking Hispanic! I was getting my hair done in the shop when two ladies walked in and requested to get highlights. My hair stylist asked if she wanted highlights in the roots or all over. The lady that wanted highlights could not communicate clearly on what she wanted, she seemed like she couldnt understand so the lady with her translated to ask what she wanted. Because of the language barrier my stylist politely explained that she felt uncomfortable doing the service because she wanted to be able to communicate with her client. So they left.. They then came back while my stylist was servicing another client recording with out the permission of the client in service or the stylist and accused her of discriminating because of their race and told her she was rude. Even though that all took place my stylist STAYED professional and did not escalate the situation.. Renee has been cutting my hair for years! She doesn’t shy away from any texture and cuts with confidence. I get complimented everywhere I go on my hair.There’s no better feeling than random strangers stopping and saying “ Girl, your hair is so cute!” And I reply by sending to Purple Feather Loft to see Renee.And I’m Latina baby!
