Treusdell Salon & Spa — Attraction in San Antonio

Let me start by saying the two technicians I saw were amazing and accommodating, but the actual building is a mess. I have been to this establishment twice in the last two weeks. The first time I had a facial and the therapist warned me that "painting" would be occurring during my appointment. What I was not expecting was to be on the precipice of sleep and be jarred awake by knocking on the door, twice. The women's bathroom was completely covered in plastic except for one stall that didn't even have a lock and smelled of old urine. The therapist discounted the services and was very apologetic and referred me to a waxer in the same building. I came back and the floor was completely covered in slippery dust, paint sticks were all over the ground, along with dropcloths and it was 10 times louder than the first time I came. I don't know why anyone would want to receive services in a noisy environment. From a safety standpoint if you have any issues with mobility I wouldn't recommend walking through the halls or...

Nice place, great location, and many nice services here, I see 2 of them. But it is not handicap accessible. In 2025!? I had spinal fusion surgery 4 months ago (still weak) wearing back brace and using cane for weak leg, age over 50 and I had trouble opening the outside door!!! It took all my strength to open the door and I carried a cane and purse so it was very difficult getting the outside door open.😟 I asked the Receptionist to please tell the owners but just in case, here it is. I noted the inside door DOES have an accessible interior door push-button for handicapped folks leaving. Thanks. I have found my hair salon for life! I live in California and visit my parents at least twice a year and this is the place I will be coming to get a fabulous cut! Toni came in on her day off to cut my sister, my niece and myself. She has extensive hair knowledge and gave us wonderful advice. She is so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. She gave me the best haircut I have ever had. I love it! I will be back...
