Out of curiosity, I had an item shipped to this store instead of my home.
When I arrived at the store I walked up to the store's directory, looked up USA Toy Factory. After orientating myself according to the store's floor plan, I walked around the upper level several times and not finding the store. I ran into a polite security person and asked him if the store was still in business. He smiled and chuckled with a "Yes" then apologized that it is not listed correctly on the Mall's floor plan. "Sorry, it has moved around a few times and it's now to the right of JC Penny."
Lesson learned: ask the security persons first. Initially, I was confused and asked a person in a kiosk where JC Penny was and he didn't know.
Being my first time using this feature, I did not know that I needed more than my ID to retrieve my package.
Rightly so, the person at the store insisted I show him an email from Wish that contained a "barcode" of some kind.
Knowing that I might need it in the future, I saved all my correspondence concerning this particular purchase.
Normally I would discard these notices upon reading them but Murphy's law (states if any thing could go wrong, chances are high that it probably will) reminded me that I should keep it somewhere, just in case. I'm glad I did.
After finding the email and presenting it to him, I couldn't help but notice it did not include a barcode but QR code.
After scanning it, he walked to the back of the store to get it then walked to the front register to check the item out of his store.
For early evening on a Monday, both Ingram Mall and the store were not bustling but pretty quiet with a handful of people roaming the building. The sole gentleman manning the store looked like he was ready to call it a day hours before I arrived. Yet, to his credit, I now have what I ordered weeks ago.
I'm all for diversity but I just wish our English vocabulary and our American business courtesies were more common than they presently are in...
Read moreBeware!!! The labubu they sell are fake. I bought a box (have a seat Labubu edition) today thinking it was legit. The box had the hologram QR code sticker on the back of the box and everything. Once opened the labubu inside was nothing like any of the labubu on the side of the box. I looked all over google to see if the labubu was even made but I didn’t see a single picture of the labubu I got. The card that comes inside with the labubu showed it was supposed to be SiSi but it wasn’t. It was something else none existent. I went back for a refund. I asked the employees working if they sell real or fake labubu and they all said they didn’t know and that I couldn’t get a refund because their policy was a no fund policy. It took them having to call the Owner of the store to finally get my refund. At that when I was talking to the owner over the phone he told me that the labubus currently at the store were fake and that he has an order of real ones on back order coming in in 3 months but those would sell for $50 so if I wanted I could pay for that and wait for the shipment. I said hell no I just want my money back!!! I’m glad I was able to...
