Really wanted to give this place a chance but unfortunately already had a bad experience before even getting to try it.

My mom is visiting from out of town and wanted to have a facial the day after she arrived. Due to circumstances out of her control, her trip was delayed so I had to reschedule our facials (and I rescheduled well within the cancellation period). When the day of our facials came, I got really sick (tested positive for COVID). I called to cancel our appointments but was still charged the 20% cancellation fee since it was past the cancellation window. They called to tell me the reason, and I get it, but I didn't even plan to have to reschedule/cancel twice--I even tried to see if I can get it rescheduled, but they said they were still going to charge the 20%. I understand that the policy is in place for those who are notorious for no-shows and for esthetician's schedule, but for something beyond my control (two instances, even...travel and COVID), I was still charged. It's unfortunate...maybe I should have still showed up sick?? Don't know how that would help anyone.

Mixed Experience: First-Time Eyebrow Threading Review

My first experience with eyebrow threading left me with mixed feelings. I decided to give it a try after hearing about its precision and long-lasting results, but the pain was far more intense than I anticipated. Having previously opted for eyebrow waxing, I found threading to be a level above in terms of discomfort.

However, the silver lining was the professionalism and efficiency of the technician. Despite the pain, she worked quickly and was incredibly kind throughout the process, which helped alleviate some of the discomfort.

While I appreciate the convenience of finding the salon through Groupon and the quality of service provided, I've concluded that eyebrow waxing is more suited to my preferences and pain tolerance. Luckily, they offer this service as well, so I'll stick to what works best for me in the future.

Although eyebrow threading might not be my cup of tea, I haven't ruled out returning to explore their other services. Their pleasant atmosphere and excellent customer service make them worth considering for future...

I went in for a facial done by Heather at the Del Mar. Heather is a sweet, kind and caring person. She really took the time to listen to my concerns. Heather is very knowledgeable about skin care. She wants you to feel and look your best. But, she doesn't try to sell you anything!! She recommends products but doesn't make you feel like you have to buy them. Also, Heather has the most amazing skin!!! I have also gotten a Brazilian from Heather. She does a pain free and amazing job at making you feel comfortable. If I could improve one thing, it would be the person at the cashier. She was such in a hurry to get me out the door she forgot to give me the 20% off (that she told me I qualified for) and gave me attitude when I nicely reminded her. This isn't the first time the person at the front wasn't cognizant of what they were doing. And, it's not like, I don't understand the front can get busy. I will say, when Exzelda is at the front everything runs smoother. She makes sure to take care of you and always tries to get you the best deals on the products...
