(RESPONSE TO OWNER) : I’m sorry but we did NOT leave and where there when she came back from asking the manager so I am absolutely appalled at the level of unprofessionalism and the lengths this place is going to cover up. How would a customer know the inner rules and workings of a new restaurant? We waited for a response before leaving, and no she did not even apologize to us for what happened. She simply said “bye” and gave us a look like we were the ones who were bothering her. Not only that, but the two tables next to us looked incredibly uncomfortable as she was not quiet about moving us. I do not take joy in giving a bad review and do not gain anything from it. I wrote it so hopefully someone can see it and not have to go through the same situation we had to go through. Never have I experienced this (waitress lying that we left when we were clearly there and were waiting for a response) and management taking their side and making it seem like it was the customer overreacting. You must be incredibly successful and overflowing with money to be able to turn people down. That is great for a new business and I hope you continue to succeed where you can constantly turn away people before more potential customers even show up. The worst part was that were in a hurry and were just there to try a small dish then leave and where not looking to stay long at all.
(ORIGINAL POST):Went at 5:42pm on a Sunday today and was told to sit anywhere, then once we sat we were forced to move to another table because they were "expecting to be busy". There was plenty of tables outside and to be forced to move as we were just told to sit anywhere was really rude and disrespectful. To make matters worse the waitress went to check with her manager and came back doubling down saying we had to move. I have NEVER been forced to move for hypothetical guests. "Expecting" to be busy while your not busy is not an excuse to...
Read moreLast night, I had the pleasure of dining at Pazza Market and Cucina and it was an experience worth every one of its five stars. From the moment I walked through the door, the ambiance transported me straight to the heart of Italy. The warm, rustic decor combined with the soft melodies of Italian classics created an inviting and intimate atmosphere.
The highlight of my evening was the chef’s special risotto with a lamb shank. The risotto was a symphony of flavors, perfectly creamy and infused with the rich essence of fresh herbs and high-quality Parmesan. Each bite was a testament to the chef's commitment to using only the freshest ingredients. The lamb shank, tender and succulent, complemented the risotto beautifully. It was slow-cooked to perfection, falling off the bone with ease and bursting with robust, savory flavors.
The attention to detail in every aspect of the meal was remarkable. From the expertly crafted presentation to the impeccable service, it was clear that Pazza takes great pride in delivering an authentic Italian dining experience. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that every need was met without being intrusive.
In addition to the incredible food, the wine selection was outstanding, featuring a well-curated list of Italian wines that paired beautifully with the meal. The sommelier’s recommendation was spot on, enhancing the flavors of the risotto and lamb shank.
Overall, Pazza offers a dining experience that is both authentic and exceptional. It’s a place where you can truly savor the essence of Italy through fresh, high-quality ingredients and masterful culinary skills. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable Italian meal. This is a restaurant that sets the bar high and...
Read moreThe food is very overpriced especially considering the portion sizes. The pastas are $18-23 and do not include any protein! The pasta portions are also extremely small so I’m unable to understand the price justification. The food taste was very average, quality of ingredients were average, and they are also very stingy with the ingredients. They use very little toppings on both their pastas and pizzas and also charge a few dollars for each additional topping which would be understandable if more than 4 tiny pieces were added. The pizza crust was burnt and barely had any cheese on it so I mostly ate sauce and bread.
Another thing that turned me off about this establishment is that they charge you an additional fee if you pay using a credit card. They have a 3.5% credit card surcharge which is ridiculous, I have never been to any restaurant that does this in this decade. When the food is already overpriced is it reasonable to charge additional fees for customers paying with a card which is 99.9% of your customers?
Lastly, they have extremely uncomfortable chairs at their tables. The chairs are made of metal and there is a pink one that has lines of metal all over it, it feels like sitting on a metal park bench. Unsure who thought this was a good or fashionable idea.
My final remarks are that the people running this place seem to be overtly cocky about their food, ingredients, and dining experience. There are a lot of changes that need to be made here if they want to survive past their honey moon grand...
