Disappointed with the deceptive practices of the employees at this store. After upgrading to a new phone, the employee, Adam, told me I could pick out any cable, charger, and case because they were included with the phone. I was pleasantly surprised, as I usually avoid buying accessories here due to their high prices.
However, when I received my receipt, I noticed I had been charged almost $200 for these accessories, which Adam had claimed were "bundled" with the phone. I immediately informed him that I no longer wanted the items and requested a refund. He responded by saying he wasn’t allowed to sell a phone without the accessories, as it was against store policy.
I explained that my sister had purchased a phone here a few months ago without any such requirement, and I’ve been shopping at this store for over five years without encountering this issue. Adam then claimed that all the old employees had been fired. When I asked to see this policy, he showed me a basket labeled "essentials" as if that explained everything. Seriously?
At this point, I asked to cancel the entire order, but he said it would cost me a $50 restocking fee. I agreed to pay it, and only then did he reluctantly agree to remove the accessory charges—except for the screen protector, which had already been applied to my phone.
At the time of this review, I have not received a refund or even an invoice for the accessories I was charged for. Needless to say, I will not be coming back...
Read moreWhat a disappointment being there business customer for over 15-20 years my first time at the store as I was in the area. Not only Mr Jesus doesn’t know basics of customer service but also refused a service that was basic. I entered the store explaining my issue that how hot phone is getting. First time ever I heard that even having warranty plus Verizon ausurion insurance. He refused to answer any question and said we donot process this here. Sitting behind that counter no hello or welcome which Del Mar and Encinitas stores are great with welcoming. After going back and forth about it he said they are not authorized Verizon store which again don’t make sense as it says big Verizon outside.
Of course being lazy to work puts blame on customer that she’s being rude. I pay monthly for my business thousands of dollars. I expect service. It’s easy to blame the customer when you just wanna sit on the chair and not get up. I even called Verizon customer service who informed him he’s suppose to process request at any store. He makes excuse oh customer is rude I refuse service. 15-20 years no other store or online customer service thought I was rude suddenly Mr Jesus finds it rude to process and work for what he’s being paid for
I have never seen such a lazy not happy customer service agent before. Who just sits with straight face and no knowledge. Dont go here very...
Read moreMy wife and i have now visited the store at least 4 times - it has been 3 months since we switched over to verizon and we are still struggling to resolve the issues. The CSR who first attended Jaron and his store manger Andres have shown no sense of ownership of responsibility. They promised us $1000 credit for a iphone trade in to switch over from ATT, then messed up the credit plan, it took 4 visits to the store and 3 1.5 hr each long phones calls with Verizon 1800 to resolve $800 credit. Jaron and Andres also said we would be getting a $200 verizon visa credit in mail, it has been 3 months and no email, and no credit. When we call the 1800 number we are asked to go to the store, when we go to the store we are asked to call 1800 number. Bottom line, we regret we changed over to verizon, and we regret we went to this particular store, and we regret we were "helped" by Jaron and Andres, and finally we regret that we have no option but to continue to seek their help and talk to them to get our issue resolved. I will be obviously giving all the details to Better Business Bureau and hopefully try to recover our $200 x 2 phone lines. Please do not trust anything these guys say verbally, get...
