Firstly, I have been a frequent customer of this studio for several months and have always been extremely happy.
My stylist Bella had done an amazing job on my lashes and I’ve left very happy with the staff & the experience.
The manager Kristin has always been very friendly and accommodating. I frequently come in for refills on a weekly basis and pay out of pocket for extra refills on top of my monthly membership dues.
My experience this evening was so terrible i had to socialize it on social media!
I had received a call from Ollie ( new receptionist) that my appointment with my scheduled stylist on Wednesday morning unfortunately had to be canceled
I told her I was traveling at the end of the week and could I do another a.m slot this week? Her response was the soonest she could get me in was 7/10.
I told her I usually come in weekly and I’ve NEVER had a problem getting an appointment and was surprised that she could not find availability within the week?
She was curt, rude and unhelpful and was neither sorry or unconcerned in providing an optimum experience.
As I have a membership PLUS pay for additional services you would think accommodations would be attempted?? On the phone she could care less!
Not trusting her, I called Monday morning spoke to a different receptionist and booked an appointment for this evening @7pm.
As I waited in the front lobby@7 for my spoon the previous customer walked out and complained how she was very unhappy with her service, her lashes were not full and she wanted to come back to have them removed and start all over again. I was about to see the same new stylist she did. Logic told me I should have RUN than.
I did not get into the room til 7:30 pm. I was the last customer in the studio.
She finished at 8:15. The feeling I got was that she wanted to leave for the night along with the receptionist.
I was unhappy with her work. My lashes did not look full and were sparse. I paid for volumes and did see any of them on my eyes. I did not even look like I had lash extensions. Her extremely unprofessional response to my complaint was my natural lashes were bare to begin with!!!! DUHhhhhhhj that’s why I’m here getting lashes !!
As I am now-the 2nd customer in a row who was very unhappy with the service within 2 hours this may appear to be a significant issue that the receptionist Ollie should take note of ??? She was oblivious to the entire incident
I asked to speak to the manager Kristin. I was “told” Kristin was unavailable to be contacted. The only way to file a complaint at Amazing Lash was via email. She said she would send Kristin my email. She said she would do that as the studio had my email when they sent me previous notifications.
I was charged $80.00 for this horrible REFILL experience on top of my monthly membership fees!!!
When you get consecutive complaints in a row with the same stylist within the same NIGHT , the receptionist should have logged that as a serious concern.
She made no effort whatsoever to rectify the situation. She did not offer to have it fixed ( unlike the woman before me who also left dissatisfied but who she made arrangements to rectify the situation. I was told there was not any Senior Managers that were available, nor who I could directly call or contact. Apparently they would contact me!’
When I got home the text I received a text from Ollie “they did not have my email.”

First of all, when I arrived, the receptionist made a point to tell me how new and inexperienced my lash stylist was. I let that slide.
The receptionist asked me what style I wanted and showed me 4 amateur sketches. I told her which one I wanted and went back into the room for my service.
There is a large sign saying the lash stylists are required to wear a mask, mine did not. Her breath was so terrible the entire experience was beyond uncomfortable. 2 hours with her breathing her hot breath in my face without a mask. And her fingers reeked of cigarettes. I almost ended it early because I was so miserable!
I finally finished and went to pay. I was unhappy with how my lashes looked. They looked cheap and a symmetrical and nothing like the amateur sketch they showed me. They then told me my total was $40 more than they quoted over the phone. I asked why? She told me because of the type of lashes my stylist chose to use. Not okay!
Then, 48 hours after my terrible appointment, ALL of my lashes have fallen off. They used clusters which I specifically asked them not to. I have never felt like I’ve wasted money as bad as I did here. This place is a scam and they take your money and cannot provide the service they claim to offer.
My lashes should not have fallen out within 2 days, and the entire experience was borderline traumatic (that’s how bad her breath was! someone needs to refer her to a dentist!) I have contacted my bank and the BBB to get my money back after being scammed by these people. DO NOT GO HERE!
I recommend Blink Bar! they were able to fix my lashes after “amazing” lash studio ruined them and I am very grateful for Blink Bar! Go there instead and don’t waste your money at amazing...
Read moreI came here for months and even purchased the membership. My lashes DID NOT last long/Fell out within a few days EVERY time. I did try different artist to see if maybe others were better. They all were similar, I did also get poked in the eye brow with tweezers by one of their “master stylist” and was bleeding for awhile and nothing was said. I remember loosing lashes and being so frustrated that one time I finally called on the 3rd day and they told me I could come in but I would have to pay more…..I then tried a different studio because I was so upset. They were shocked that the Del Mar studio did not fix my lashes after it being such short time. Overly priced for the quality of work given. I will not be visiting an amazing lash studio EVER again. I will continue to spread that they do not do their best work. I have found the best lash artist who does the most amazing quality of work I’ve ever seen and contacts me to see how my lash retention is holding up. This is how you do great business. Before when going to Amazing lash, I told one of the stylist my lashes were falling out often EVEN THOUGH I was following ALL the rules when it comes to extension, she told me the water I was using was too hot…….. 😐 There was also a time I scheduled an appointment for a fill, they brought me back and told me I would need a longer time because most of my lashes were gone so I needed to re-book🙃 (It had not been that long) I respectfully left canceled my membership and never looked back. I suggest taking your money elsewhere. There are so many different eyelash artist that will do this work and not overcharge you. Please do not waste...
