Skaters, frat bros, babes, weed, bums, cholos, bikers and ricers, sunburnt tourists and many more attractions to see. It's San Diego, it's the beach, everybody is there. As Sheryl Crow once said "I'm gonna soak up the sun, while it's still free."

It has changed drastically with lots of renovation done around Belmont Park and the reconstruction (widening) of the boardwalk, along with the addition of street vendors in most recent years. You have to pay 10 dollars to get in to Silver strand beach, but it's worth it. Clean bathrooms, super close parking and a fraction...

Shops carry standard beach and tourist fare. Relatively reasonably priced. Restaurant selection in the immediate area is good with everything from bbq to Chinese to Mexican and seafood. A very...
