Gorgeous locale for aquatic activities and family fun. Bring a blanket and spread out under the sun for a picnic and a nap. Bring a book or magazine and work on that tan while you catch up on current affairs or escape into a well written novel. Crack the top to your favorite flavored can of La Croix for an effervescent refreshment but remember to put your refuse in the appropriate bin when you leave. More of a night owl or goth? Th3n skip the parking chaos that comes with the draws of crowds flocking to Southern California's waterfront offerings and come at night with a trunk full of fire wood and a couple of beach chairs. Bonfires on the cove are a real treat. There is alot of space on the sand to spread out but fire pits are scarce. If they're already taken, be kind and friendly and ask to join an already raging bonfire with the promise of more wood and good company. I love this spot, not too many people I know ever go here, it is often skipped for more popular spaces or areas with more fire pits. Try your luck and make haste for a spot, if the stars are aligned In your favor and you can nab a fire pit you will be all the...

There are homeless people who are relations inside the bathrooms loudly to the sound of Elvis music in the mens restroom and in the womens restroom we have been screamed at by homeless women in the...

All that aside it's a good place to set up for an all day hangout. The kids enjoyed the shallow water and digging in the sand. We enjoyed watching...
