Maruta Harder Playground is a great place for kids of all ages to play. It has a variety of features, including a new net slide, a net jungle gym, swings, and a sandpit. The net slide is a lot of fun for kids between 5-12 years old. It's a long, winding slide that's made of net. Kids can climb up the side of the slide or use the ladder to get to the top. Once they're at the top, they can slide down headfirst or feetfirst. The net jungle gym is one of the biggest we've seen. It's made of net and has a variety of climbing structures, including a ladder, a slide, and a swing. Kids can climb up and down the structures, or they can just hang out and relax. The park benches are like beach chairs and have a cute design. They're a great place for parents to sit and relax while their kids play. There is plenty of parking at the playground, and there are plenty of food options nearby.

Read moreOn our most recent visit to Belmont park we parked in the lot adjacent to this park because there was plenty of parking available. On the way back we stopped to the kids play at Marita Gardner playground. I didn’t realize the legacy of Marita Gardner, she was an educator and community activist who was killed by a drunk driver while she was painting over graffiti in the beach area. I think it’s beautiful that the city dedicated a park to her. And it’s a fun, innovative interactive park that is often busy with delighted children. I especially love the pink color...

There's a younger baby swing caracel. Grass to sit on. Sidewalks to scooter or rollerblade. Overall great park with more variety than most parks. Only downside is bathrooms are gross, but at least...
