Beach And Bay Bonfires — Attraction in San Diego

We recently took a vacation to SoCal which included a few days/nights in Mission Beach. I had heard from a friend that you could hire a service for beach bonfires. I did some research to find several businesses offering this. We went with Beach and Bay Bonfires and I'm so glad we did. Joey set us up with 4 Adirondack chairs, 4 tiki torches (which was a cool touch and added ambiance), s'mores and hotdogs with buns. You can't legally have a "bonfire" on the beach (without cooking something to call it a BBQ, which they will go over with you in detail). This was hands down the highlight of our trip. It was so nice having a fire right on the beach with our two kids. I called the number, left a message and they called me back, set me up with Joey and he and I texted out the details but everything from start to finish was fantastic. It ended up costing us right around $200 because we added a couple extra bundles of wood because it was so nice. I highly recommend getting extra wood. The $10 bundles they give you are the kind you would find at a gas station, small and VERY dry so they don't last very long especially if you want a larger fire for a longer duration. Thanks so much to Joey and the team for a memory we will have with us for the rest of our lives....

On Saturday I decided I wanted to do a Sunday night bonfire. I booked online with a company, but it wasn't clear where I should meet them so I called to confirm. They told me their online scheduler needed to be updated so they weren't even sure the time I booked for was available. They said they would call me back in 15 minutes and they never called! So Sunday at 5:30 PM I reached out to Beach & Bay. I got a text IMMEDIATELY saying they could absolutely set us up for 8 PM Sunday night. Cameron provided EXCELLENT and convenient service from beginning to end. He sent me a location pin so I knew exactly where to go, sent a payment link right to my phone, called when he got there, set up was super quick, the S'mores kit was VERY generous with the amount supplied. He was really friendly and extremely professional. Incredible experience. Don't look elsewhere for your bonfire needs. We'll book again...

This was absolutely amazing. I’ve lived in San Diego a while and always wanted to do a bonfire but never wanted to deal with the city provided fire pits. I contacted Beach and Bay Bonfires and they got me all set! They delivered my fire pit to Mission Beach, set up everything and lit it for me. They included chairs, tiki torches and a s’mores kit with my package. We literally didn’t have to do anything but enjoy. They then returned later in night to pick up the equipment and dispose of the ashes for us. They also set up at La Jolla Shores which I will be doing for my next fire. This is the absolute perfect event I am now going to do with everyone that visits me. What’s more San Diego than a bonfire on the beach?...
