Very impressed with this tiny deli on a dock! We stopped in on the way to Shoreline Park and ordered an Italian Torpedo and California Club. We could have easily split either one of those sandwiches between the two of us and had more than enough food. I should have known better since everyone before and after me ordered a half sandwich and was on a first name basis with the owner.
At first I balked at the prices of $9 per sandwich, but figured I was just paying a premium for location and rolled with it. But after eating these sandwiches for lunch, and then again for dinner, I would order them again even if they were $15.
The sandwiches were simple, but had fresh quality ingredients and weren't light on meat. I also impulse bought some deviled eggs and tuna stuffed jalapenos, which were a great addition for our picnic at the park. This place really is a hidden gem, so definitely stop by next time you're on the way to...

No. But why would I expect that from a deli guy where my interaction with him is going to be 40 seconds? Not sure why some people felt this person is unfriendly he seems like every deli person whoâs taken my order that Iâve experienced. Nice, not mean and to the point.
Anywho back to the sandwich. The turkey club was awesome! A huge sandwich that couldâve been split between two if you wanted. All ingredients tasted fresh! The crunch of the bacon was perfect - not over cooked where it might break a tooth and not undercooked. I prefer wheat bread so ordered the sandwich on that - bread was fresh and delicious.
Defintely coming back and recommending to everyone I know who wonât be offended when the older guy doesnât engage in...
Read moreMy bestie always hits this place when visiting from Colorado so we thought we would give it a try for our make shift picnic on the island. The couple that owns the place are so cute. He told me they had been there for 20 years making sandwiches. We ordered a turkey/cheese on white with everything on it and a pastrami/cheese on sour dough with the works. The sandwiches are very hearty, I could have easily split mine. They sell the "Dirty Potato Chips" brand there which I love.
I also would like to call out that they have clean restrooms which is a huge bonus along with an outdoor seating area on the dock over the water/harbor....
