Update: The delay in order to gain access to the electronic products that are held in reserve due to theft is getting worse. Just about waited 10 mins for an associate to come with the key in order to get a product. Almost walked away since at first no one responded to the electronic beeper requestor and then when I got the electronics clerk in person he swung by and then walked back to the counter yet didn’t get us our items. He could have been more clear in communicating that someone else had the key to grant access to the console but didn’t and just returned to the service counter without telling us anything. Really 1 star for customer service at this point. Everything is under locked cabinets now. The city is not doing enough to protect businesses. I waited for 15 mins at the Lego section to try to get a set. Ended up having to just leave and walk away because no one came to enable me to pick the merchandise. I would rather you control entry into the store than control the shelves on a manner that prevents time out shopping. Make it like COSTCO. Force only reputable customers to be a me to enter.

This is a pretty big target. They generally have everything I need for household needs to clothes, even groceries. They have self checkout and cashiers working so the long lines can move fairly quickly. They also have curbside pickup if you want to order online and scoop up. Big parking lot and also a ton of other nearby shops so it’s a great place to get everything you need in one trip. Edit: this target has gone downhill… I previously gave this target a great review. But my last few visits have changed my decision drastically. There was an employee next to me talking on her Apple Watch the entire time she was working. Didn’t even ask if I needed help finding the items when it looked like a literal bomb went off. The guy running the self Checkout was equally was bad. I don’t know what happened but this target is a disaster now. I even had other customers laughing along with me about how horrible this place has been managed.

Overall it's a clean, nice Target, but I felt their prices were a bit steep. We were just looking for some cheap water shoes or flip-flops for the beach, and everything they has was $25 and up. We ended up finding what we needed at a walmart for $8. Also, it's weird the things they had locked up in display cabinets. I guess people steal lots of underwear and socks? Also, the sign there stating the shelves are secured to help keep the products on my list in stock is dumb. Let's call it what it is. These items are locked up to prevent shoplifting. Please contact a store rep for help. That's what it should be. "Working to serve you better" should say "Working to prevent theft". Anyway, nice store, too expensive. That's why I don't typically shop Target.

The Target Store - off of Sports Arena Drive - is one of the best stores to shop at within the beach areas; it is also easily accessed from I-8 (west), the light rail and the transit lines,#' s 8, 9, 28 and 35 at the Old Town Central Station. I shop at this Target Store frequently ( It is one of their 26 San Diego County outlets and is among what I call "The Four Corners" : There are four of their stores within "my shopping area"; one on Balboa, one on Othello, one in Mission Valley and their store within the Pt.Loma area, which is located on Sports Area and Midway Drive. Each store is very unique - in it's own way - however, they are all noted for their extremely competitive pricing and superb customer service. Their manager, Mark, is a very amicable guy and if you ever encounter any difficulties, their "guest services" will help you rectify your concerns... Their selection of organic foods and low calorie drinks (especially Naked and Bolthouse juices KamchucaTeas, coffees and myriad other drinks are plentiful and - when on sale - few others are able to 'best' their prices! Their Gatorade selection is extensive and at - often 88 cents for a 946ml. bottle - no one else can match those prices and I can say the same for a number of other juices and drinks that are no longer chocked full of HFCS,as well as high levels of sodium (salt) and other chemical additives ; the causes of high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels, as well as other medical problems that also result for very high fat content ( There are four different fat categories and two are very harmful when consumed in high quantities.). Also: loading up on "carbs" can be harmful, as if one doesn't burn them off with exercise, they eventually turn into fats. A factoid : In 1978, a high calorie molasses-sugar was developed by American corn growers - we are the largest exporter of corn products in the world - and they expected to flood our our world with this substance however, the plan failed and we began to use it, instead of cane and very sugars : It was called "The Cornifiation of America" and it helped to "fatten us up" and create today's overweight revolution. Large convenience store chains like Target Stores were amongst the first corporations to alter this way in thinking, and 🎯'd this problem ; it means that less 💰 will be spent on 🚑🛌🏥so we can 🛳✈ vacation to 🗼🏰🏂⛷🏄🏇🎎🎆...Go figure? You can always expect good customer service at Target has an exceptional product selection and it's a great place to get seasonal work, but only if you are committed to their credo, which is also what America has always stood for ; a "four letter word" to a few individuals - however, to the majority of our immigrants, as well as our citizens, that word is...

Round 1: Fight You know, I'm not sure who the gentleman was that helped me at in store pick up, but I just wanted to give you a shout out for taking the time to make fun of my last name while assisting me. (See what I did there.) I was polite and courteous to you when I was in your store and I would have expected the same from the employees. Instead your employee choose to act like a 9 year old on recess break. I expected better from target. Shame on you!

Round 2: Fight! Picking up 2nd online order. Lady walks up ask for name I tell here she goes back comes up front hands me a back says here you go and walks off. Now im picking up an online order for my gf...idk and idc what all should or is supposed to be in the order..That's what the people who work there should be doing..Lady didn't give me a mop set. So we have to go back later to pick it up....Inc. round 3.

Round 3: Finish them! Go back to get the mop oh and the other whole order that the lady didn't bother to give me. Now I feel Target's customer service policy is pretty bad when an online pickup (myself) can walk up not wait in the line of what looked like 10 people and get service ahead of them. (Great for me but a big F U to the line.) Now 1 person helping all these people while 2 other employees stood 15 ft away and had a personal conversation for about 10 min. What the GM all the way down to the floor leads were doing in this 15 min debacle is beyond me, the fact that they don't even notice 20 customers at the front of the store waiting for service is beyond me and they need replaced if their leadership qualities are that sub-par. There was a child crying so loud in that line you had to have heard it from the Chik-fel-A across the street.(0 star parenting skills, but that's a different review.) This whole time the guy is looking for our order...Oh lawd....Needless to say we had to go get one off the shelf our self....Now we got back there with the item and he was just barley getting another person behind the counter help to tend to that massive line of 20 people. I'm done...

Other then the fact that they don't take EBT online for in-store pickup or curbside or delivery online making it inconvenient for someone that can't leave there home to make things easier on people that are under doctor's orders to not move other then to the restroom and back to bed because of major surgery or other medical issues they gave during the pandemic (me being one of those people for 6 months) when i was finally healed and aloud to leave to shop myself entering this location always seem nice and clean to me with a friendly person to greet you as you enter the premise. Even with that fact signs are posted as you enter the store about wearing face masks they don't rudly obnoxiously scalded you but kindly ask if you have one to please put it on or they will kindly hand you one if you have lost, forgot or miss placed it by mistake. I have never had a issue with getting help here from a employee they seem to always be right around every corner to me is great i don't like to search all over the entire store looking for a employee for help before having to waiting for a very exhausted and overwhelmed young cashier left by their self to handle a huge line of costumer like Walmart dose in thier stores and you still have to wait for whoever they call from the very back room to show up to help you and they will take their sweet time getting to making any in and out quick stop 2 hour longer then attend. The employees also seem to know the product you might have questions about only a couple times i got I'm not sure as a answer but thankfully the fallowing response right after was i can get you to a person that can answer it would fallow me please to me them asking to got with them to the right person is so much better than being left waiting not know if they would be back. So i highly so personal recommend this location. I am willing to travel from a faurth location that is 40mins Drive out of my way then to ever step foot into the Walmart that is about 10 mins walk away from my new home and is always overcrowded and shorthanded...
