Pacific Coast Highway - California Edition This trip was incredible and one I had dreamt of taking for years! Growing up on the east coast it was amazing to see how much our coastlines differ. We spent 2 weeks driving the coast and dare I say it wasn’t enough time! One of the coolest parts was seeing how much the coastline changes from Southern California to Northern California. Although I loved every minute, I would probably say my favorite part was once we got above San Francisco as the views were absolutely breathtaking! Stops along the PCH And detours inland: • Started in Santa Monica • Malibu • Channel Islands National Park • Santa Barbara • Solvang - Danish Village 45min inland from Santa Barbara • Pismo Beach • Morro Bay • Hearst Castle **PCH is currently closed between Hearst Castle and Big Sur from a landslide so you have to detour inland then back down to Big Sur which makes the next few stops seem out of order** • Pinnacles National Park - detour inland; 2hrs from Hearst Castle • Monterey • McWay Falls in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park • Big Sur • Carmel by the Sea • San Francisco • Point Reyes National Seashore • Glass Beach, Fort Bragg • Chandelier Drive thru tree • Avenue of the Giants - more scenic route than PCH to surround yourself with redwoods • Redwoods National and State Parks #travel #travelvlog #californiatravel #placestovisit #placestotravel #bucketlisttravel #pacificcoasthighway #PCH #socaladventures #roadtrip #vanlife #traveltok #westcoast #fyp

“🌴✨ (Episode 1 of my San Diego series!) Exploring the charming streets of Encinitas, where the eats are delish and the shops are one of a kind. 🛍️🍽️ Plus, it’s a pup paradise out here! 🐾 Did you know Encinitas is a hidden gem on the Cali coast known for its surf spots and stunning botanical gardens? 🌊🌿 It’s also where you can treat your taste buds and your pup to a day out! 🍽️🐾 I encourage you to dive into the Encinitas vibe and tell me, what’s your favorite local spot or secret hangout here? ☀️💦 Why go to Encinitas? 1. **Surfing Legacy**: Encinitas is often referred to as one of the best surfing towns in the world, home to iconic spots like Swami’s, which was famously mentioned in the Beach Boys’ song “Surfin’ USA.” 2. **Botanical Beauty**: It hosts the San Diego Botanic Garden, which features nearly 37 acres of exhibits, including rare bamboo groves, desert gardens, and a tropical rainforest. 3. **Historical Highway**: Historic Highway 101 runs through the city, lined with quirky shops, cozy cafes, and surf shops, encapsulating the classic beach town vibe. 4. **Spiritual Sanctuary**: The Self-Realization Fellowship Temple, founded by Paramahansa Yogananda, offers meditation gardens that are open to the public, providing stunning views and a peaceful retreat. 5. **Flower Power**: Encinitas wears the crown as the “Flower Capital of the World” with its extensive flower fields and nurseries, which contribute to the area’s vibrant local agriculture. 6. **Cultural Festivals**: The city celebrates its heritage and community with events like the April Street Fair and the Fall Festival, which attract visitors from all over for music, food, and crafts. #ExploreEncinitas #LocalSecrets #DogFriendlyEncinitas #EatShopLove #sandiego #visitsandiego #visitcalifornia #encinitaslife #citygirltravel #sandiegolife

To travel Pacific Highway 101 has been on my bucket list for many years. I finally got to drive on the iconic highway finally! It was an AWESOME drive with beautiful ocean front scenery, small quaint towns with really cool and interesting shops and eateries! I wish I could have done this 20 years ago when there were not as much people and traffic. There was a lot of people and traffic in every little town that we passed. Overall beautiful...
