Americas Best Value Inn - Loma Lodge — Hotel in San Diego

I've stayed at the America's best value Loma Lodge three times now in my time in San Diego and I must say it is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my entire life. Here are a few reasons why the staff has no respect like I said I've stayed there three times and for some reason all three times have stayed there the staff has found a reason to threaten to call the police on me though I've never committed a crime threatened or done anything to them. Another reason why they straight up Rob me for my money I checked in through a third party app at the time that I said I was going to check in yeah when I went to check in because of a typo of one letter in my name the America's Best value inn Loma Lodge took 151 from me but did not let me check in there for the typo was not a big enough deal for them to not take my money because the names didn't match on my ID and my credit card but it was a big enough deal for them not to let me check in and therefore charge me for that night. The third reason and final reason is that the staff / family that owns and operates the America's Best value inn at Loma Lodge has without warning barged in my room with a nightstick and tried to keep me captive there because he said that I was involved in the stealing of some documents that occurred weeks prior now mind you I do not live in San Diego therefore I was not in San Diego at the time of whatever occurred occurred but he proceeded to try to keep me hostage against my will when I was injured and on crutches and proceeded the chase me down the street until I finally fell down further injuring myself I'm now contemplating a lawsuit against...

I had a relative stay here while visiting because he was handicapped and couldn't get on my Yacht steps. I can tell you the most important thing about this hotel is that it is clean, clean if that's all you need is a hotel to sleep and maybe take a dip in the pool at the end of the day! Large rooms bring your kids great place So I was painting some cupboards inside my boat in the harbor I couldn't sleep in it and now I am spending the night here very happy, but I do always sleep in ear plugs🙉 I got a $55 rate last minute in the middle of everything in San Diego. They also have weekly rates I have to edit this because I give it five stars because of the convenience the price and the cleanliness. Don't Believe the knit picky people first of all the paint in both rooms I've seen looks just done,what do you want for the price people? the beds are not uncomfortable they're not top-quality Sheridan but you're not paying Sheridan prices😁I was a flight attendant for Southwest airlines for 27 years and I slept in the best but for a quick couple of days with the kids, Come on if you have money to burn go stay at the Sheridan! I got the last room tonight and as a local this is amazing, and it's a Wednesday. I better stop bragging about it otherwise I won't get these prices anymore! Too many people will be here that aren't persnickety! There's a older (I don't mean to sound bias cause I don't know her name) Mexican Lady skinny and short she is absolutely adorable. I love her she is a powerful asset to this property. She's clean, honest and always smiling and asking do you need anything. I tipped her over and over. The overall service of this property is superb and on point. However whoever is the overnight person chubby, with short hair guy isn't friendly and needs to understand you can't bring your home to work. Tony is excellent and thumbs up same with Nick. The maintenance department hmmm not a knowledgeable guy but friendly and helpful. Overall your a 5 and overlooked, under estimated and keep it up. Advice and I'm a Chief Engineer PM the rooms please. There simple with your paint choice..oil base is easier to clean and upkeep a housekeeper wiping down walls. Look at the cracks below the AC units. Caulking is needed..spiders crawl in those spaces. Also plumbing is a good thing to look into. The entertainment center get rid of there ugly and mount the TV to the walls. Pictures on walls not needed. Mirror on door would be nice and the mirror placed over nightstand instead of desk your better off. Also enforcement of the smoke is warranted.
