My friend & I came on Sunday July 7th, 2024 for lunch at 1230pm. I hadn't come in a long time & wanted to eat pancakes. But I was disappointed.
$16.99 for simple 2 pancakes 2 scrambled eggs a small side of hash browns and one slice of bacon. I was shocked at how expensive it was for just this average restaurant. And it was average food as well. It was too crowded and too noisy. I have paid less money or same at much better restaurants!
I forgot the waitress's name she was a short little Hispanic woman. She was very friendly & attentive but there was just one thing that was irritating that she did not want to do.
I was with my friend and we wanted separate checks. I asked the waitress for separate checks in the very beginning and the waitress acted like it was going to be such a difficult task. I asked her again and then she nodded okay.
But after our meal was over she brings us one check. I said please I'd like to have two separate checks she says okay. And she goes up to the entrance to the door cashier. So I just followed her up there and I said to the other cashier lady my friend and I would like to have separate checks.
A few seconds later our waitress brings us two copies of the same ticket. I couldn't believe it. I said why is this so difficult. I said we want separate checks I want you to calculate mine separately for my bill and my friends separately for her bill.
So then she leave frustrated again. I think the problem was she either couldn't figure out how to do it or to me simply lazy. I assume she has been working there awhile and knows about how to do separate checks I would think?
She comes back 3rd time with the same check. My friend subtracts her part from the check and then pays her cash. She finally does bring me my separate check for my meal. Then she was standing there waiting to see what I was going to do about paying with my card. I asked her to leave.
I will never come back there again. I still tipped her just $2 even though I didn't want too. My friend is the opposite she says oh I feel sorry for her she was busy. I said no she needs to do her job there's plenty people out there that want jobs that can do a great job. Certainly she has given separate checks before & it was...

To start off when we first got in here there was only one person at the Register taking payments with a line of like 6 people trying to pay and a line of people trying to get seated and no other workers around to help the lady at the Register. We get seated and waited like 10min to get our order but no one would come so my husband had to ask a worker if we could get our waitress took them probably another 5min for her to come to our table and comes to our table with the biggest nasty face. Almost as if she was bothered because she was called to come get our order. Took her almost another 10min to get our drinks out and when she brings me my coffee says. We only have half and half creamer and Hazel Nut. Of course i didnt drink it because they didn't have the Vanilla one. Lets talk about the food now. My son got his food first and 5 to 10min later we get the remaining of our food. Thanks but who likes to eat their food on their own? If you are there with more people wouldn't you like to eat all at the same time??? My son's pancakes came out with no Butter on them. My husband avocado in his plate was ugly looking and last but not least we had tought we had order my mother in law the sampler and when we told the girl that what we had received was wrong she was like ok ill bring more of what you need comes back with the extras and also a menu on hand to show us what we had order was right what she had brought out. I just think that was so unnecessary. Today is a monday 1pm. The restaurant was slow on a Monday and bad service really think ill go again on a Weekend???? No Thanks! Read moreMy Advice: DO NOT ORDER DIRECTLY FROM THIS I-HOP. I ordered food from this I-Hop directly. Food was to be delivered 45 minutes after order to the hotel in which we were staying. The delivery time kept inching forward by 10 minute segments. It went from 9:31-9:41 then moved to 9:33 - 9: 43... and so on and on. As each time would arrive the time would move. By 10:10, i was over it and my order was still in process of being picked up. I called I-Hop. They blamed Door Dash claiming the order was picked up 40 minutes ago. I was advised by I-Hop to to call Door Dash for a refund. When I called Door Dash they gave me a small hassle but eventually refunded a portion of my money. They said because I ordered with I-HOP directly, I-HOP would have to refund the rest of the order. I was instructed to call I-HOP. I called back I-HOP and I was told to call Door Dash. I shared with them that why I was calling them. They said I needed to call a manager. She said she would leave a note for the manager. I wasn't comfortable with that. I asked to speak now. Apparently the manager declined to speak with me because she was too busy and as for my money I don't know when or if I am getting a refund. I-HOP is a corporate chain... how in the heck am I struggling to get my $79 dollars back. The woman told me... if you want to talk to a manager come in because she cannot talk to you now.
I am not saying the food is horrible or anything. But I am saying avoid the hassle. My kids are eating chips and fruit for breakfast because our breakfast never arrived and we have run out of time before check out waiting...
