Today mom and I had the vegan mock meat chunks with broccoli and sweet n sour chick'n was really good. For dessert has sesame balls with red bean paste.
I like it. I can't get enough of the spare ribs made from mushroom stems that seem to have seitan [vital wheat gluten] wound around them. The sweet n sour pork is about the best around. All this is vegan. I have seen Buddhist monks in here during lunch in the orange robes with no hair because hair isn't really needed is it?
Treat yourself and help the planet. Eating animals the outdated oppressive food chain or food pyramid needs to be updated. People are a lot healthier eating plants. Everyone I know loves Enjoy.
You can enjoy vegetable pot stickers too and the hot sauce is so full of flavor. The hot sauce is from sesame oil with red chili flakes immersed in it. The hot sauce is shelf stable. Also use the vinegar to add extra flavor to the chili oil and pot stickers. I don't use the soy sauce when I eat here. The sweet n sour pork is served on a bed of steamed broccoli. Get the brown rice instead of the white rice. The brown rice is healthier and has a nutty flavor that compliments the entrees better than regular white...
Read moreTried this place for the first time and loved it!! Not your typical American Chinese restaurant-- some of these flavours I have not experienced since my time in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. We got to try some unique items-- Vegan Shark Fin Soup, Eggplant with Vegan Sea Bass, and Vegan Braised Spare Ribs with Broccoli. Everything was delicious and actually seemed like excellent quality as well. Everything was cooked and spiced to perfection and the portions were very generous. They have a massive menu so there's something for everyone, even picky eaters! Also all dishes are made without garlic or onion, for those who avoid garlic & onion for spiritual practice. Of course during COVID they aren't during table service, only Take Away but atleast they were kind enough to let us eat our meal at their 1 table available inside. We really appreciated that! Very happy with our experience here and would...
Read moreI decided to come here about a month ago. Horrible decision to say the least. Upon walking in, the cashier told me and my husband to sit in the far back corner of the restaurant while she told an Asian family to “choose anywhere” When our food came out, only one dish was warm while our chow mein was room temperature. The food is okay but the service is horrible especially if you’re black or brown. We decided to tip low due to the poor service as well as having to send back our dirty dining plates. The cashier demanded that we tipped at least 15%. Mind you we ordered two items and were not satisfied with the treatment we received. She proceeds to tell us that tipping is mandatory in “America.” She wasn’t satisfied with the tip we originally gave and cornered us until we gave her $2 more dollars. May she receive the karma she deserves. What...
