Magical! Dave of The Church of Eight Wheels hosts every weekend (weather permitting). Even with a little rain, my oldest has discovered her jam there. She’s positively hooked on roller skating with the ‘big kids’. It’s such a joyful experience to watch people of every stripe have unabashed fun here. Watching my two supergingers speed around with the sun on their faces is the best. My time to find some skates is coming soon. Gotta keep up with the kiddos!

Seriously good fun and a safe space. The older and more experienced among the crowd look out for the little ones and even kindly help with tips or simply recovery after a spill.

Just show...

Wow! This taking me waaaaaay back! I remember this spot from years ago, I didnt know it was still cracking! I think after they closed the skating ring in Fillmore, where the police station is on Fillmore & turk, it was two black dudes who started it & I member one of them, his name was Reid & I cant member the other guys name, but they was best friends & Eric had a lil Mazda RX6 with mad beat in it and he would park it and let the music play & thats what we skated too. Im so glad U seen this, because I'm going to come check it out, its been years sense I've been on some skates, but I'm sure I still know how to to do a lil something...

Wow! I wish, this kind of Skating Place Park in Redwood City. My daughter's Godfather brings us over here today. I would love to go back skating again. They have variety of friendly, color, kids, few older people who are skating here at Skating Place at Golen Gate Park. Free and Social!! No place I go rollerskating or rollerblading at the park in Redwood City. They do have rollerskating indoor and have to pay onside. It is not really friendly like here. I do not want to drive all the way to come here and rollerblading or rollerskating here at Skatin Place Golden Gate Park. It is too far. I am envy...

Nice little skate park in Golden Gate Park. On weekends and sunny days you will see plenty of adults and kids skating and playing music. It’s located right on the edge of the park so it’s easy to access by car and it also touches closed JFK avenue so it’s a great place to walk or bike or skate to! There is also a water fountain there.
