Fun shop jammed full of amusing gifts, toys for all ages, cards, party supplies, art supplies, stationery. Much rotating holiday stock including Jewish holidays. examples: for children: board games, craft kits, a small selection of books, novelty birthday cake candles shaped like animals or that light up, top quality plush hand puppets, modeling clay, crayons paint, beads, feathers, glue, wiggle eyes, mad libs, baby pull toys, need toys, etc. Etc. For adults: board and card games, stuff like Band-Aids, soap, and magnets with silly sayings on (for a while they had a lot of bacon things), beautifully designed and unusual kitchen tools, locally themed-but-artistic-and-useful items (think cutting board in the shape of the state of California with San Francisco marked). Moleskine and other notebooks and journals, high quality art brushes and paints, coloring and sketching pencils and paper, some pre-stretched canvases, fine fountain pens. At Chanukah, an astounding variety of menorahs. Christmas, ornaments. Passover, Seder plates. Easter, Halloween, you name it. Often seasonal earrings, socks, etc. Birthday and blank cards for a range of ages and tastes. Also congrats, new baby, etc. It's not a big store so the selección Of each is carefully curated. They have a couple of dogs that may wander around as if you're not there. They'll give your dog a biscuit if it's...

I HIGHLY recommend this store as a fantastic place to pick up gifts for people of all ages, art supplies, and most of all to have invitations printed. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, speedy, and very helpful and their services are professional and affordable.

More info: One of our friends created beautiful calligraphed invitations for our upcoming wedding and we struggled, over the course of a month or two, to find a reliable place to get them printed. One day, a search yielded Just For Fun & Scribbledoodles, which happened to be just blocks down the street from our apartment. We had no idea what to expect but thought we'd give them a try since they were so close by. Our experience was fantastic. We worked with the co-owners, who were incredibly helpful, creative, friendly, and worked within our budget. We ultimately paid less than we had budgeted for invitations - trust me, that didn't happen with other wedding vendors we worked with. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, you can bet I'll drive a long way to come...

My friend and I heard about the Noe Valley Holiday Window Display competition and decided to head over to browse for gifts. We wandered into this store to get a couple stuffed animals for a friend's children and when we stepped in OMG - this place is a magical wonderland of such well curated gifts, cards, art supplies, toys, games, etc - it was amazing and I got so many beautiful gifts (for the kids and beyond). Kevin (the owners husband) was so helpful and kind in helping us look for "squirrel themed gifts" and he even gift wrapped them for us. I told him I was going to post a 5 star review because he was so wonderful and it truly reminded me of the potential of what shopping in person in brick and mortar is truly about. Best shopping experience I've had in a while - there's truly no substitute for the kind of care in customer service that you get from a place like this.
