San JosĂ© State is growing and improving in all the right ways. Located in the center of Silicon Valley, this university blends a rich history with a forward-thinking student population. The campus is walkable, the energy is strong, and youâre never too far from the buzz of downtown life.
We loved how open and inviting the newer parts of campus felt. The student union, library, and common areas had a great mix of energy and calm. Everyone we encountered, from students to staff, was respectful and focused, but also friendly. You can tell people here are building toward something bigger.
That said, weâd love to see the school take the next step in its message. Yes, San JosĂ© State powers Silicon Valleyâbut it would be even better to say, âEmpowering San JosĂ© State students to power Silicon Valley.â Letâs shift the focus to the students. Theyâre the heartbeat of the innovation, culture, and progress coming out of this region.
Some areas of campus could also benefit from more lighting and tech-forward upgrades. A smart solution would be implementing solar lighting or smart campus infrastructure in spots that still feel a bit outdated or dim. To be fair, they may already be working on it, but making those efforts more visible would show the public theyâre serious about student safety and innovation.

It shows that "used" books are available online for a much lower price but once I purchased, they sent me a new book for both my orders and charged an additional $130. I think the website should be updated, (btw it shows even now, a few weeks after placed my order, the cheap version even though it's not available).
