Westside Billiards — Attraction in San Jose

Awesome place! I’ve been to many pool halls but this was my first time at Westside Billiards. Definitely not my last. I loved it! The vibe is excellent. Chill yet a very good, upbeat energy about it. The pool tables and house cues are good quality. Prices are great too. I love the midtown location, and the staff was very welcoming. They have really cool diner chairs at the counter, and the fact that they have a counter is another huge perk. Shoot some pool, get a bite to eat, listen to the music…all good! Looking forward to going back...

Plain place. Looks dusty but is clean enough No taps, just bottle beer $4-$5, and not much to choose. Has grill and such, open noon to 9:30 pm according to the functional person behind the counter. Oh yeah, CASH Only. $4 /hr pool tables, worn but play very well, about a dozen, 9 ft. Close together but that don't matter, there's usually no one there in the afternoon when I play.
