At the time I’m visiting this place it’s a social media revolution here in the island. Everyone is posting something about this place and this is what led me to give it a try and visit it. It is well decorated, clean, organized, the staff professional and efficient. In these times of pandemic they have a good protocol for sanitizing the place and customers. Of the few things that I can point out that I did not find so attractive is its prices since in my opinion you are paying for the experience and location (since it is in the tourist area of ​​San Juan), because the product you are going for has the quality of places I have been that for a lower price I have tried Gelatos with the same or better flavor. I recommend you visit it and give it a try.

Al momento de visitar este lugar en las redes sociales a nivel local en la isla, está siendo una revolución. En estos momentos de pandemia cuentan con un buen protocolo de sanitation del lugar y los clientes. De las pocas cosas que puedo señalar que no encontré tan atractivo es sus precios ya que en mi opinión estas pagando por la experiencia y localización(ya que esta en la zona turística de San Juan), porque el producto por el que vas tiene la calidad de lugares que he ido que por menor precio he probado Gelatos con igual o mejor sabor. Anita La Mamma del Gelato is located in Old San Juan and has captured the attention of many throughout social media in the past few months. I felt like it was time to visit it and form my own opinion and wow, it far exceeded my expectations. Anita is one of the most photogenic dessert shops I've visited in quite some time, and the Gelato easily matches the quality of the place. Beautiful. Creamy. Decadent. Rich. Delicious.

I tried multiple flavors including White Chocolate Coconut and others, but I fell in love with the White Chocolate Pistachio Cream. There's a ton to try here so you'll probably want to come back a few times to experience other combinations.

The location is just as important as the sweet treats, just know you may want to visit early during the week as it's packed on the weekends. I visited Tuesday just before noon and I almost had the place to myself! I was able to enjoy the music, vibe and flavor from the incredible Gelato.
