Elemara Spa and Salon — Local services in San Juan

I opted for the 80min CBD hot stone service. I decided to walk in opposed to booking an appointment and the two ladies at the desk- Gabriella and Hailey- were EXTREMELY warm, friendly, and accommodating. They set the tone for “luxury spa experience”. I was able to get an appointment just 30 mins later (appointments are strongly encouraged, btw) and was escorted to the locker room. The locker room is gorgeous and offers all the amenities you’d hope for: lockers, toiletries, robe, sandals, etc. From there we went to the waiting area. I had my choice of healthy and tasty snacks, water served in a number of ways, a variety of water additives purporting to offer various health benefits and in assorted flavors. After electing to sit outside, a gentleman named Jose greeted me to offer me a beverage. I had the choice between a mimosa or champagne (among other things). I chose champagne. My service began promptly, on time. Anas was my masseuse. He was perfect. I get massages on a weekly basis, at the very least. My massage therapists DO often remark on my preference for heavy pressure. I’m known to have a high pain tolerance and prefer what is, apparently, an alarming amount of pressure lol. Anas very tactfully checked in with me throughout to service to make sure I was comfortable and did so with perfect frequency and tone. I found his technique to be very educated. He has an understanding how how the musculature functions and flows. Provided the perfect amount of pressure throughout, being mindful of areas that are more sensitive than others. The service lasted for the exact amount of time & was very professional from start to finish. At the end I had the choice to return to the waiting room or locker room and elected to have another glass of champagne while I penned this review. Overall I believe the value of the service is amazing. A wonderful spa with incredible staff. Toward the end a gorgeous woman with a short blonde cut and blue eyes who I presume to be the manager (I didn’t get her name, unfortunately) warmly greeted me and asked if I have been enjoying myself.

During my Puerto Rican getaway with a friend, I pampered myself to two spa treatments at the Elemara Spa & Salon and was delighted with my experience there. The staff is incredibly attentive, providing you a personal attendant upon entry into the spa, offering an assortment of complimentary drinks (mimosas, wine, smoothies, and fruit infused water) and light refreshments. The spa itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and above all, tranquil with options to decompress in or outside taking advantage of the sights and sounds of the ocean. On the first day, I booked a 110 min Ultimate Zen Experience followed by a more therapeutic 50 min Myofascial massage. Alexis, my therapist was incredible…easily identifying my trigger points, listening to my feedback regarding pressure and rapidly making adjustments when needed. I highly recommend La Concha’s spa services. Just be ready price-wise and aware that there is a service charge and tax that are separate and apart from the tip which is voluntary. This is probably one of the best massages i have ever had! Only ones in Thailand and Bali compare… Jedsaira gave me a MARVELOUS full body massage and Alexis gave me amazing foot reflexology massage! They were both great and super nice! It’s known for being the only beach front spa in Puerto Rico! Views are unreal. The waiting are is so nice, inside and outside… the snacks are super yummy, protein bars, edamame, chocolates, cranberries, cashews etc… they have hydrogenated water, hibiscus tea, and coconut water, they also have cold cucumbers ready for anyone who would like ones for their eyes!
