This place is a mess. The line to drop off your bags is not clearly delineated, so bag drop off was mass chaos. Secondly the lines to enter are not visible or clear, so you don’t know where to go to board. There is nothing for the disabled so people who need help are at the mercy of other passengers for help. Once inside the terminal the elevator isn’t clearly marked and there are no wheelchairs available at this point. You have to climb a level or 2 before assistance is available. Keep in mind you are outside for a long period of time, so have water and a personal cooling device available…battery operated fan would work. Read moreThis place is great when San Juan isn't on strike. NEVER get a flight before noon, no GUARANTEE you'll catch it. Yesterday the cabbies blocked Royal and Celebrity from being able to load/leave the ship, so we had to drive over the mini airport tarmac with the few cabs they let in.
This port is not so good because the one in OSJ is better accessible. You just walk up. This one is a good 10min walk down Calle Muelle along the airport gate. You can thankfully take Uber's anywhere in San Juan EXCEPT from the airport. Read moreThis is a very busy and large Terminal off the pier in Puerto Rico for departing and returning cruise ships. There is a large area for suitcases. Inside the Terminal there is Customs and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, to process passengers returning from thier destinations. There are restrooms available but not much else.
