Battery Park — Attraction in Sandusky

The mature trees and windy location make the relaxed and beautiful sound of leaves rustling. Expansive grass and shade are dreamy while gazing at Cedar Point and the Sandbar. One of my favorite spots in Sandusky, my mother ice skated here as a child. Being city owned the amenities are not top notch. Battery Park is still my favorite marina. The layout of this marina is a little inconvenient; the only bathrooms are private and for marina guests only. However, everyone needs to use the bathroom and so, to use the facilities necessitates waiting for a marina member to open the locked door, and the accompanying dirty looks from said members. That said the facility is fine, and located close to several points of interest (Cedar Point, Put-in-Bay, etc); making it a great place to use the Freedom Boat Club...

I recently purchased my boat from someone who uses this marina. I am now docking in Cleveland so I was only using the marina a short time, but I was very impressed with the great personnel who run the marina. The food was great.
