Escape Rooms by Franknicky — Attraction in Sandusky

Escape Rooms by Franknicky in Sandusky was a great experience. We did the Tesla the Electric Messiah room and our team escaped with time to spare. The room was well decorated, and incorporated technology more advanced than just locks and keycodes. There were fun surprises and the guide was helpful but not overbearing. The only odd thing was that the guide was in the room with us the whole time, but that was explained in a previous review. Overall the story was great, the puzzles were fun and interactive, the room was well designed and had a great theme, and the workers were friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a fun escape room in Sandusky, you can't go wrong here.

----Edit 12/19/2022-- Our team came back for the "trapped in the 80's" room and we were not disappointed! As in the Tesla room, this room incorporated physical lock and key, word locks, directional locks and more technology to create fun and interactive puzzles. I still maintain that this was a great escape room experience and maybe they'll add a room in the future that we can do...

Just go, you will not regret it! The rooms are beyond impressive, the technology is insane, and the staff is incredible! Had a 16U girls volleyball team with some downtime during their tournament in February and the staff went WAY above and beyond to accommodate our group. The girls were blown away by their experience. Girls said the game masters were fun and shared a lot of laughs and the rooms were amazing. They even refunded me for one of the people in our group that couldn't make it last minute. I did not expect that at all - that was way too kind of them. Thank you for helping make it an incredible weekend for our girls. I have to say, all the people we encountered in Sandusky were the nicest, friendliest people we ever met - all our team parents were blown away by their genuine hospitality everywhere we went. My parents are here from out of town and since we had done the Tesla room last year we wanted to do the 80s room with them. I cannot stress enough how awesome this place is. There's a whole vibe before you even come in as it is in a beautiful, spooky historic building. The man who runs the rooms is really cool and helpful. The puzzles are absolutely amazing and the technology is really unique. It was a very fun experience both times. Our ages ranged from 8 years old to 60s and we all had a great time.
