The first time I visited this store, the experience was good. I was happy to see so many books, crystals and creative home decor. However, today’s visit left a very bad taste in my mouth. An employee named Indie followed me around the store was very inattentive when I needed help. A nice young man held a few items behind the jewelry counter for me while I continued to shop. I went Back to the jewelry counter to get my items to purchase at the front. Indie was at the counter speaking with another staff member who was not behind the counter. I stood right in front of her and waited for her to finish her conversation. She never once looked at me or acknowledged that I was standing there or even attempted to stop her conversation with the other staff member. A few minutes later, an Caucasian woman came to the counter and she immediately acknowledged her. After indie finished helping the other woman , she still didn’t acknowledged me. I just asked her for my items once I realized she had no intentions of acknowledging me. She asked what was mine and walked them up to the front counter. This store has a lot of great things to offer but the employees that were there today didn’t leave a good impression. The staff members at the jewelry counter didn't know what metal the jewelry was made of, the stones in the jewelry the meaning of the stones. In conclusion, the employees don’t model all of the great things that the store has to offer and it seemed I was not acknowledged or helped due to...
Read moreI went in yesterday as it was my first time and given it’s a metaphysical store you’d expect great positive vibes. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t great entering the door I was not spoken to and or welcomed in. And still gave smiles with deadpan faces given in return. No one could say excuse me as they were walking by and I was in the way unknowingly. And in return given a straight face with no words. As I walked through the store even the girls in the back were not welcoming either. I went in wanting to buy sage and wanted to know more in depth about its effects in cleansing spaces and thought I’d ask if there were more techniques to using this. Not knowing the girl was Native American I wouldn’t have asked as she spoke to me in a very rude way saying that was not apart of her culture and instead uses incense. I asked nicely if there was a spiritual reason as to why incense was preferred in her culture (enthusiastically asking) because I was genuinely curious but I was meant with short and rude answers saying “it’s just part of my culture”. Please do not employ people who aren’t willing to be open and give advice even if it’s not apart of their culture. I could of been directed to someone else if this question made her uncomfortable. I didn’t ask in a rude way and more of I wanted to be informed of practices from other cultures. Another girl was there and could of also offered advice because I feel like anyone would know about Sage but clearly not. Very...
Read moreThis store is an amazing find and I would recommend it to many people! For starters, when I first visited this shop, I was very surprised to see three cats just chilling in the store! They are very good natured and don't generally seek you out but will let you pet them. There is also a pretty broad selection of things you can purchase, including clothes! Their stone wall I could go on about! It's organized by color and energy points each stone corresponds with. And they are well stocked on them!
Tarot and oracle cards: I have a whole thing to say about these! For starters I have never seen so many different cards inside of a store! Plenty of them I had seen for sale only on amazon! And to top it off there are some decks that have "sample" decks. They are only partial decks but they are open for you to pull out the cards and peruse them so you get an idea of what you are buying which is amazing! And I'm serious about the number of decks. I kept moving on in the store thinking I had found all the decks and I'd find a few more in other sections. It's amazing!
There is a great selection of candles, essential oils, handmade soaps, herbs, incense, jewelry, charms, books, music, statues, cauldrons and all kinds of things! There are even two small tables by the window and a side door outside to a small patio for you to sit down! It's amazing.
The items can be pricey but alot of them are from small businesses it looks like!
Overall...
