What happened with our safe, clean, fun Uptown Jungle???? We’ve been members for about two years, and over the past few times we’ve been there, the establishment is SO MESSY and UNSAFE! A few facts: . The basketball area’s inflatable floor is hardly ever stable full of air, making it not only so uncomfortable to play, but quite unsafe. . On many occasions, I’ve seen the actual air pumping machine been left outside by the wall, and with the big plugs on the same wall open and perfectly ready for our little curious toddlers to potentially hurt themselves with all of that. . Yesterday my friend’s baby (see pictures) slipped and hit her head (thankfully not too hard) in some of the dirty water that was left after the floors were being cleaned. We had been sat down for at least 20 minutes giving our children some snacks and watching the staff do literally NOTHING to clean those traces of dirty (really gross) water all along the back side where the dinning tables are. After the incident, we asked the boy that seemed to be in charge of it to please take care of that, and defensively he replied: ā€œI am working on itā€. To what we thought to ourselves, ā€œno you’re not, had you been working on it, you would’ve already grabbed some paper towels to the very least, and forgot nieve your job to ensure this running area is safeā€. As pictures show, we ended up doing it ourselves before other kinds hurt themselves. . Toys are missing and/or destroyed. I understand parents should be more aware of what their children are doing and not let them destroy the place, and from a business perspective I also believe that it is Uptown Jungle’s responsibility to keep its place clean, safe, and fun re-stocking the missing or damaged pieces. . Along the dame previous lines, there’s broken plastic balls all over the place (not safe), and on a different day I watched the teenager in charge of cleaning those areas pick up balls and dumping them into the main pool ball area (whatever that’s called) with peaces of a plastic bag that seemed to belong to a package of socks. He saw it go into the play area and did not mind picking it up, so I did, because little pieces of plastic bags are indeed another hazard for our little ones. Anyway, these are the few things I can think of now. I gave it an extra star only because we used to LOVE this place, not anymore. Sad! We’re going to cancel our membership :(

We've been here with our toddler a handful of times and grandma just purchased an annual pass for our toddler to come enjoy more regularly. It's a fun indoor play place for the kiddo, but having been months in between visits I really did expect the place to be replenished since last time. But... It hasn't been. The ball pit is nearly empty, most of the balls are crushed. Uptown Jungle needs to work replacement balls into their budget. It's bad. There are foam balls and little plastic lite Brite pieces also that are paltry, these need to be replenished as they get lost and destroyed over time. Our first time attending this place was over a year ago and I can confidently say that Uptown Jungle has NOT replaced one thing in that time. There are pretend grocery store/doctor/kitchen spaces and NOTHING to play with in there. No props or costumes. These need to be replaced y'all. What is going on!? They're nearly a waste of space anymore. As others have mentioned it doesn't appear to be deep cleaned often but maybe they do... Weekends chock full of rowdy kids can do a number on these places so it's probably hard to maintain. But it's gotta be done. The air floor area seems to be deflated. It doesn't appear to be very much fun, kids step on it and there isn't enough air to bounce - they are just walking on hard floor in there? The upsides to Uptown Jungle are the climbing, slides, actual jungle gym area and trampoline area. My kiddo can run and climb for a long time and has so much fun with it. Overall this place has gone downhill and I sincerely hope they have plans ASAP to rejuvenate their spaces, especially if we have a year worth of access and it keeps getting grimier and the ball pit is nearly empty! These are the kids of expense line items a business of this type needs to consider, it's pretty wild that in a year not one ball or foam block piece has been replaced or added in. Thanks for listening 😁

Took my kids here on a whim on a Friday morning and it was mostly toddlers and their parents. Tip! Buy their Groupon. They also charge 1/2 price for parents to play. This place is in a more confined space, but just a spacious enough unit to hold lots of space to build upwards on. It's comparable to Kids Empire, but better than Kidstopia. They have climbing walls and obstacles that open at noon, so plan accordingly. If I had known that, I would have waited to bring my kids at noon for their two hour play. It's clean enough, but not as clean as Kids Empire. They have two sets of slides similar to Kids Empire's slides, but not as fun. I do feel that they have more area to climb around in. There's also a ball pit, additional tunnel slides and some play/pretend store/doctor houses, but it seemed to be missing the loose play items you'd find in a pretend grocery store. They also have a climbable volcano like at Kidstopia. There are some tables and benches for parents to sit at, but I imagine on a weekend there wouldn't be enough seating to meet demand. They have an in-store snack shop that seems to have a wider array of foods versus Kids Empire. Staff was friendly enough. What I didn't like about this place was that "shoes off" was not necessary for entering the play area. Kids Empire will not let you enter the play area until they've seen you with your shoes off and I love that. It truly helps keep the play area cleaner when cleanliness is enforced. So even when I was playing with my children with my grip socks, there were still parents walking in those same areas with their shoes on. For those who don't mind, it's a non issue, but I do prefer indoor play gyms that take it one step further with cleanliness. Overall, I'd take my kids here again. We had fun.

** Fun for Kids, But Overpriced and Poorly Managed

For the kids, Uptown Jungle offers a fun experience, though it's slightly overpriced and not much better than other similar places in town. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, largely due to poor management and understaffing.

The place is consistently understaffed, and the manager—who seems quite young and inexperienced—lacks the necessary customer service skills to run a business effectively.

** Party Planning: Misleading Packages and Hidden Fees

If you're planning a party here, be prepared for unexpected charges. The packages are incredibly deceiving, and you really need to watch out for what you’re actually paying for. The most frustrating part was being asked for a minimum 15% tip when settling the bill. Are you serious? This isn't a restaurant! We were blindsided by this and ended up paying an additional $112 in tips for services that should have been included in the $750 party package.

Communication is also a major issue. They don't answer calls, and we had to go through central reservations just to add more pizzas to our party. And when the pizzas arrived, they were frankly disgusting.

** Operational Issues and Untrained Staff

The biggest problem is that the venue is severely understaffed, with a bunch of untrained kids trying to manage the place. Here are just a few of the issues we faced:

Our reserved cart wasn’t ready and had the wrong name on it. The poor host was running back and forth because there was no one at the front desk to assist. The host requested that gifts be placed on a cart but failed to inform the front desk staff, leading to confusion. Despite signing waivers ahead of time, it took over 40 minutes to check everyone in, cutting our playtime down to 1.5 hours instead of the 2 hours we paid for. At checkout, the host rushed over to handle the transaction, clearly expecting the tip request. It felt like a setup, and I didn’t appreciate the pressure to choose between 15%, 18%, or 20% for a service that should have been part of the package.

While I’m happy to tip for good service, the way this was handled was deceptive and left a bad taste. This place needs better leadership and clearer communication with customers.

** Lack of Accountability

After the party, we called to discuss our concerns, and the manager had nothing to say except to agree that the tipping policy is deceitful. What does that say about the company? If even the staff acknowledges that their practices are misleading, it’s clear that this isn’t just a one-time issue—it’s a systemic problem.

A business that knowingly engages in deceptive practices without making any effort to rectify the situation shows a lack of integrity. It's disappointing that rather than addressing the issue or offering a solution, the management simply shrugged it off. This lack of accountability reflects poorly on the company and only reinforces our decision to take our business elsewhere in the future.

We are a very big family and serve hundreds of families who all have kids with upcoming birthdays. Trust that this will be made known to each and...

I've been here a couple of times before for open play with my kids and some of their friends. It's honestly the perfect place for fun & safe indoor play, I'd truly rate that part 5 stars.

My review will be in regards to our birthday party experience. For context: the party was over a weekend from 11-1 PM. I recently threw my 3 y/o son a birthday party here thinking they had a great setup and space to accommodate the amount of friends and family we wanted to invite. I had an issue with how the flow of the party was planned and handled by the company. I was called for confirmation of the party a couple of days prior to the date. The customer service rep on the phone informed me of the following schedule: 1 hour of play time (which doesn't include use of the room you rented - this stumped me since it's not stated anywhere on the website), 45 minutes in the party space for pizza/cake etc., and then the remaining time leftover to play. What shows on the website is an asterisk of this is not a private event. That's a vague statement and doesn't have this schedule listed anywhere. I was disappointed to hear this but at this point what could I do?

It's now the big day, we get to Uptown Jungle and there is no staff at the party check-in desk. It takes a few minutes before someone comes to help us but at that point I've already helped myself to a rolling shelf to set all of our belongings on it. Over the confirmation phone call, the rep told me that we could rent a table as we wait for out party room to open. This was frustrating to hear since we thought he package we purchased had included a party room from 11-1 but in actuality 12-12:45. We talk the staff into setting us a table to store our presents etc. on it until we move into the party space. It's now time for pizza so the staff helped us, along with our friends & family, move all of our belongings into the party room. This portion of the party was handled smoothly by the staff. They were very quick to jump in to help us serve kids drinks and pizza slices. It's not around 12:45 and the staff has started tearing down the table and cleaning up the room for the next party. I get that there are other parties thrown at Uptown Jungle but didn't appreciate feeling pushed out of there so quickly at the end. We then have to move our remaining items to another table outside of the party room. I feel like there could've been a much smoother system in regards to housing parties. All of the moving was exhausting.

Ultimately this review isn't to bash the establishment or its staff, I think they did a fine job that day. I hope parents who are looking to book a party at Uptown Jungle find my experience insightful and helpful in their party planning. Hoping perhaps Uptown Jungle could learn from this and establish their party schedules explicitly online and better train their staff on customer service for future families who wish to have their special...
