Went to get my broken LCD fixed. Color was leaking, but that’s it. Zero other problems. I got my phone “fixed” for $207, tries to quote me $360 or $380, but “luckily” they price matched for $207. Only plus of the whole experience. Got my phone back, sweet. Color works, everything seems to be in order. But boy was I WRONG. I have an iPhone X, the 3D Touch no longer works at ALL like it did. Have to LITERALLY squeeze my phone so hard, and it still barely works. Took my phone in, they said they’d fix it, gave it back to me the SAME way it was. Told me “we have a guy with an X, and he said it works perfect” and I said no, and showed her HOW HARD I had to press and she agreed but said unfortunately we can’t do anything. THEN I start finding OTHER PROBLEMS. The bottom edges of EVERY angle of my phone no longer work minus the top. The flashlight or camera button doesn’t even REGISTER that I touch it. When my phones horizontal, cannot scroll the time bar on the bottom. Won’t pick it up. They told me there was nothing they could do because “the guy with the x said it worked fine”. THEN she told me “I asked someone and they said replacing the screen with a new one wouldn’t do anything “. Then WHAT WOULD? It IS the screen. So now because THEY gave me a FAULTY screen, I’m out $207 on my $1000 phone. Absolutely livid. Would NEVER recommend getting your screen fixed here unless of course you want more problems than the one initial problem. I NEVER write reviews but I can’t get over that I gave them my $1000 phone, PAID them for a service, they screwed up, and somehow it’s nobody’s fault. Please save your money and get it done by people who have the common courtesy to at LEAST replace the screen THEY put on that does NOT work. Clear lack of integrity by some of the crew. The initial two dudes I talk to were VERY kind. No issue there. Just a world of issues with my “new and...
Read moreI have used the Sanford Batteries Plus location for multiple services over the past few years, from multiple phone repairs, car key fobs, batteries, and even my car battery. When I got my car battery in November of 2021, it was getting dark when I arrived & it was cold. Two memebrs of the team came out to install the battery for me. One held the flashlight, and they worked together to make sure I got back on the road safely.
Recently I had issues with my car starting and discovered corrosion on the battery and cable connector. I've never needed to maintenance a battery before and was completely ignorant. Mark promptly greeted me when I came in, listened to my concern, and came out to check my battery. My battery had a great charge, but my car still wouldn't start. Mark took the time to clean and maintenance the battery, and took the time to educate me on how to properly maintenance my battery moving forward.
Each time I've been here I've had prompt, friendly & efficient service, and no complaints. I read some of the negative reviews and have this reaponse- to those who complained about phone/tablet repair, 3 times I've had phone repair and each time it was explained to me there was no guarantee the suspected problem could be confirmed, them working on the phone could void the warranty, and even if they suspect it's the charger, no guarantee. A quote was always given & I had to preauthorize.
For the one complaining about not being given a replacement battery because he didn't have a receipt, AKA proof of payment, seriously? No proof of payment nor were you in their system? Hmm.
Thank you Mark & team for always going above...

My phone was the victim of water damage, and I didn’t know if it could be fixed. I left my phone with Sergio at the store, and he confirmed that he would call me to let me know if it was fixable before they fixed it, and to confirm the cost. To be clear, I went here because they have a 4.8 rating. I regretted it for two reasons:
1- They didn’t call me to let me know it was ready. My phone was obviously dead, and they had it at the store since I turned it in to get fixed. They had taken down another number to reach me once they figured out if it was fixable, but they didn’t call it. Instead, when I came to pick up my phone, I found that they had called my phone (that had been dead, at their store). I was waiting for their call, but instead I had to reach out and check in.
2- The worst part is that they fixed it before they got ahold of me. What if I didn’t have the $310 it took to fix the screen? I was honestly thinking I may just get a new phone if I was going to spend that much to fix it, but they forced me to do just that. There was a possibility that it was just the battery, which would only cost ~$30 (I was hoping this was the case), but apparently it was the screen. I even made sure that they would call me before they fixed anything, and they confirmed various times that YES, they would, and that they would confirm the cost. They did not, and they are lucky I had that money.
