South Coast Plaza Village — Attraction in Santa Ana

I love south coast plaza. Home away from home. Lol. This is a review for the people with younger kids out there. Best time to go if you are with young kids is midweek. Get there when the mall opens and leave by 1:30. Since Covid, the bigger department stores open at 10 am and everything else in the mall like Disney, Lego, etc opens at 11:00am. The carousel is closed right now. They still have their nice displays for spring and winter. The stores are friendly and not too crowded. It gets busier as it gets later in the day. Parking is easy to find if you get there when they open. Best bathroom is the family bathroom next to the Lego store. Changing room, nursing room, bathrooms for the littles and for yourself. Can park the stroller in there and be comfortable. The couches and chairs in the family restroom are closed because of Covid but everything you actually...

They're making the mistake of getting rid of all the things that made it great, that gave it charm: the newsstand, the Cafe with the excellent desserts, and more .... Soon it'll be just like every other mall in America, only higher-priced. Bet they raised the rent and it put some of their best shops and destinations out of buisness. For shame and too bad. Might take time, but eventually one reaps what they sew. It'll be a long time...

Clean very big. Would have to be a all day thing to see the whole mall. Went into coach, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany's and other name brand stores all the employees were friendly. Tried to get into KKW the man wouldnt let us in with our drinks or our bags we had so i would give them a 2 1/2. But other than that issue loved the theme they had for the lunar eclipse festival. And they had the Disney store...
