You know an Italian restaurant is good when other Italians eat there with their extended family FROM Italy. Do not sleep on this place, for you will miss out on perhaps some of the best Italian food SoCal has to offer. Antonello's has been here about as long as I have been alive, and I'm only now just figuring out how amazing it is. The chef very much knows his craft, creating some true culinary masterpieces from scratch. The dishes here are truly spectacular. The Gnocchi? Melts in your mouth alongside the cheese and the sauce is rich and delicious. The Osso Bucco? Also rich, so tender and just absolute artistry for your taste buds. Their Seabass (previously mentioned as dry) was actually very moist, flavorful and delicious. And don't even get me started on the Tiramisu and their chocolate cake (forgot the name of the dish 🤦🏼), both of which are perhaps the best you'll ever have. All in all, my fiance and I had a great experience. We shook hands with Sonya, the manager, she was so warm and so kind, checking in on out experience throughout the evening. My only "gripe", if I could call it that? A $35 corkage fee. A little higher than average, which is around $20 to $25, but it is so well worth it. You MUST try Antonello's.

Service: Came with reservations and were seated right away. Our waiter was kind and did let us know up front that they were a bit short staffed so wait time was longer. Which of course was not a problem for us. The only hiccup was with the bill at the end of the night - luckily we took a second look - we were given the next tables tab (which was 3x the amount)! The server was incredible apologetic which we understood, people make mistakes. Food: Cocktails - these were really on point. Highly recommend any of their cocktails Appetizer: Carpaccio Originale, honestly was the highlight of our meal! Very fresh and the flavor was distinct. Entrees: Unfortunately, this is where we were both disappointed. Vitello Piccata (Veal) - The veal was very chewy and dry. Only flavor was all in the butter. Spagetti a la pescatora - (made of tomato sauce, red shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, lobster tail) I had high hopes for this dish as a seafood and pasta fan and was very disappointed. It was all bland, tasted like tomatoes mixed with water and that was it - the whole flavor. Final thought - while the ambiance and service are nice, I wouldn't come back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Antonello Ristorante for the first time tonight, a special occasion as we celebrated her birthday. The experience was truly exceptional. The culinary offerings surpassed our expectations, and the service was of the highest caliber. Our culinary journey commenced with the Prosciutto E Burrata. The fusion of Burrata, Prosciutto, and olives resulted in a rich and flavorful appetizer. For the entrées, my wife chose the Fettuccine Bolognese, while I indulged in the Paparadelle Al Sugo Di Manzo. These dishes not only presented beautifully but also boasted an explosion of taste. From the moment we stepped in, the hostess extended a warm welcome and periodically checked on us throughout the meal. Our server's attentiveness and courtesy greatly contributed to our dining experience. Without a doubt, Antonello Ristorante has secured a place among our preferred dining establishments. Our sincere appreciation for contributing to a memorable

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Costa Mesa, look no further than Antonello's, where Fernando and his team deliver nothing short of excellence in service. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and it made us feel right at home.

Throughout the evening, Fernando's attention to detail was impeccable. He expertly guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that each dish exceeded our expectations. His knowledge of the cuisine and genuine passion for hospitality shone through in every interaction.

Not only did Fernando provide exceptional service, but he also created a truly memorable atmosphere. His professionalism and friendliness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience, making us feel like honored guests.

In addition to Fernando's outstanding service, the food at Antonello's was simply divine. Each dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor, showcasing the culinary mastery of the kitchen staff.

Overall, our evening at Antonello's was made truly special by Fernando and his amazing service. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return. If you're in Costa Mesa and craving an unforgettable Italian dining experience, be sure to visit Antonello's and ask for Fernando – you won't be...

I have been living in Orange County for 30 years and have gone to Antonello multiple times, loved it. I decide to have my sons graduation dinner with my family at this restaurant. When we arrived at my private room, tables was not setup the way I had asked. I told them as such but my so called event coordinator started yelling at me and then laughed at me and said a few words in Italian and left (I think you need to chill or find a new job dear Silvina). OK, Fine think she had a bad day. There was a nice lady that came out to calm me down and did great to take care of my needs. unfortunately after that it got worse. When dinner started 90% of the food brought out was not cooked, I mean it was RAW. you could not cut the fish and steak was just RAW (not medium rare, RAW). 90% of my guests sent their food back to be cooked again, I spent over $100 per person for 30 people and all I remember was being yelled and laughed at by my so called event coordinator (Again chill dear, life is too short), and my guests getting RAW food. Antonello should be ashamed and embarrassed by this. Never again. Kids graduation party is once in a lifetime and these guys did everything to make sure it was a nightmare. Avoid at all cost unfortunately. I use to love this place. One star is...
