La Arcada Courtyard is a charming Spanish style shopping Plazza on State Street between Figueroa St and Anapamu St in downtown Santa Barbara. The Plazza is decorated with colourful tiles and has several cast bronze statues and fountains. There are many small specialty shops, restaurants, and a wine shop. The main fountain has a number of large and small turtles in it. This is a great place to stroll, shop and have a leisurely meal or snack. When visiting Santa Barbara this is a must see.

Lots of cool stores to visit, and we actually went on a day they were having their fiesta days so there were a lot of cool venders out as well. I love all of the landscaping and decor they have too. Definitely worth a visit.

I love this little arcade so much, but I just came here specifically to post a thank you to whoever cares for the turtles. We LOVE seeing them over the years in the fountain and appreciate your hard work so much!!!

La Arcada Plaza is really cute - I live in SB so I don't really shop here (there's at least one art gallery and some kind of "artisanal" stuff and whatnot) and there are a number of decent restaurants
