Nice hotel. Terrible for staying more than a few nights. The good: - Great location. Can't hear the highway. - Esthetically pleasing. - Staff is friendly. - Clean and well maintained. - On-site laundry (coin operated). 2 washers. 2 dryers. The bad: - The closets are TINY in both the queen and king rooms. They only have 5 hangers and do not have dressers. I stayed for 2 weeks for work. The lack of storage made it tough to stay organized. - The bathroom in the king room has s terrible layout. It's built like a bathroom stall. If 2 people are staying in the room and one person had stomach issues, everyone is going to have stomach issues. 0 privacy. - I listed laundry as a positive. BUT, they don't have change. At all. I tried for 2 days to get change. They sent me to the Shell gas station .25 miles away. - Pool looks great. But, it's tiny. It's also Santa Clara. Unsure how many would actually use it if it looked like it does in the pictures. - You can hear the TVs from different rooms as you walk through the hall. Not much privacy in that regard. - The door to my room gets stuck. It requires so muscle to open. Luckily, I'm younger and can make it work. Can see someone who is further along in life having difficult opening it. Beware of the bartenders. It's common for upsales. They really push that limit. Overall, there's just a lot missing in the design of the hotel. I'm a Marriott loyalist and will stay somewhere else next time.

The recently renovated rooms in hotels considered "luxury" or "trendy" kind of boggles my mind. If I'm traveling I would like a comfortable place to spend my nights and potentially some conveniences like walkable restaurants. This new AC hotel doesn't really have either of these. At first entry I found it a little difficult to even find the check in counter as it's hidden in the corner of a large room with a loud bar as a centerpiece. Getting into my room revealed many hard surfaces, but at least it had a seating area other than the office chair that many others rely on for seating. It almost feels like it was designed for ease of cleaning instead of a comfortable place to rest. I've visited a lot of Marriott properties in the last year or so, and I truly don't understand why we can't have actual bathroom doors, these barn doors are ok if you're staying alone, but don't really provide ANY privacy if you're with a partner. The bar/restaurant is a great addition as the walkable options are right on the cusp of being too far to walk. The drinks are amazing but the food is limited. I really wish they had more options (especially for breakfast). All in all, it's a nice place but expect modern.

This AC Marriott is nicely located near the freeway for access, near many businesses for convenience, and within walking distance of many nearby restaurants. The rooms are open in design - there is no traditional wall between the bathroom amenities and the sleeping area. The columnar mirror provides separation between the sink and sleeping area with frosted glass doors containing the toilet and shower areas (separated). Traditional closet space does not exist here either, with a hanging bar and a few hooks available for clothing with 6-8 hangers. Motion activated floor lighting is in place for any mid-night needs. This hotel does back up to the freeway - be aware and request a front side room if you are a light sleeper. Other hotel amenities include a workout area, small pool, lounge, and bar - all are very well designed for the business traveler or short-stay leisure traveler. The breakfast is very well stocked and supports a variety of nutritional needs. The staff were incredibly friendly with great service. I do plan to stay here in the future and would recommend to others as long as they are aware of their room location to manage noise.

I stayed at the AC Hotel for 5 nights and I must say that it was indeed pleasurable. Well-appointed rooms, with modern touch everywhere. Everything about the room appeared to be extremely well thought out: 1. Excellent and very comfortable beds 2. TV which can connect to your subscriptions (like Netflix) 3. In room Coffee machine and accessories 4. Well designed wash area, separate toilet and bath with Grohe fittings The icing on the cake was their water stations at all floors, fantastic idea, and a great value addition. Really made good use of it throughout my stay. I also liked that they refreshed the room very well everyday. Overall, it was extremely well suited and designed for the typical business traveler. Will definitely come back. PS: the breakfast spread looked great, could not try as the event I was attending had a breakfast meet-up.
