POPEYE’S has the best iced tea. I do not like the funky paper straws, though. They taste weird. No straw is better than the paper straw. (When I was a kid, straws were paper. They didn’t taste like these, though.)(Plastic is killing wildlife and poisoning our planet.)
This location is (meh). Not bad. Chicken, dippin sauces, potatoes w/gravy, cole slaw, biscuit and apple pie. (No Hershey’s Beignets at this location? WTH? That’s a no-no. If it was a promotion, well, put ‘em on the menu for good. Gonna have to. Lose a review star for not having those Hershey things.) It’s my fault for not checking, but it’s THEIR FAULT FOR FORGETTING TO GIVE ME UTENSILS. It seems to me these are independently run franchises. Different owners have different styles.
*When the owners are in the kitchen, I think they tend to do things that are more about penny-pinching than a smoother operation. Each will have their own idiosyncrasies that stray from good customer service or just plain common sense. It’s difficult for employees to adjust to some of these, like purposely giving only one napkin, which is frustrating for the customer and slows the rhythm when customers ask for more. (“Hello! McFly! It’s fried chicken! It gets messy. Napkins come in handy. Don’t give us a reason to curse your restaurant as we are already down the road, chicken grease everywhere, and the only napkin or two we have are already full of chicken grease! It has bearing on your entire franchise name.)
One thing I cannot stand is when a location that was designed with restrooms for customers has those restrooms closed (still?) because of COVID fears (really?). So, they’d rather have me not wash the viruses off my hands while I’m in their store. And they wan to take our money in exchange for their food, but they won’t let us lighten our load of used food. And they will also insist that we hold our urine, which is not good for our health - while they are gaining profits, which is the result of selling something to us for more than it is worth. Those profits come from what we could be saving for our own future. Customers don’t profit. Only the merchant profits in these transactions. So, I say boycott every business that won’t allow use of their restrooms if originally customer-designated. It’s obvious which ones are designated for customer use by design. If you can see the door, then it was made for your use. (Some restaurants block the way with garbage cans, tables or chairs. They treat us as if we are the virus, as if they don’t need us. Since this restaurant wants to repeat charging twice for items and also not giving me the items that I do order I am going to report this restaurant to my local consumer protection and also to the county weights. This restaurant needs to be audited daily as not to repeat overcharging customers and customer receiving what they actually do order. I also tried calling this location 5 times between 1:01 pm – 1:11 pm whoever picked up the phone promptly hung up. I ordered a 14 piece family meal and a 2 can dine for $8.99 meal which comes with 5 pc chick and 2 small sides, they gave me 2 small mash potatoes instead of large so I had to go back and argue with the staff that a family meal came with large sides no small finally resolve this issue but when I should have check this order before I got my to my office because when I check they was only 10 pieces of chicken when it should have been 19 which I paid for but they didn't provide a receipt PLEASE check your order before you leave especially from the drive thru these people are confused and don't pay attention I will always check my order before I leave because I didn't trust this location before now I will...

He was PICKING HIS ACNE in front of me, and then PUS WITH SOME BLOOD POP then He wipe his Right hand with his uniform. He took my money then start preparing for my food WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. So I said, "I change my mind" then he asked me why. So I told him that while you are taking my order you are picking your acne with pus and blood coming out of your hand. With a regular people they would not notice him picking his acne. It would just be a regular thing to do. But I am Medical Provider and have treated many young men and women with Acne. Without washing your hands you can contaminate the food, your surrounding, people around you and things or food you have touched. You contaminate everything.
Acne is a BACTERIA that is contagious. Acne also carries a bacterial called Staphylococcus Aureus. An MRSA that is contagious through contact. Some people can DIE from MRSA.
This india man has the audacity to pick his acne in front of a doctor. Just Be warn most doctors are very observant especially the infection doctor.
So if any of you want MRSA, go to this Popeyes. I didn't want to give any star because of DISGUSTING PICKING HIS ACNE in front of the customer (a doctor), and NOT washing his hands... VERY DISGUSTING!!!
