Wow this was the first time I been to a chick Fil a and they didnât say good morning or how are you doing and didnât seem happy to be at work. My favorite is the N 1st street headquarters one and this was my first time at this Santa Clara one that I heard was new. They also overcooked my biscuit and forgot my jam and I had to walk inside after leaving the drive through. First just âokayâ experience and I was kind of shocked. It noticed it was younger staff maybe students from Santa Clara hs or college and probably not morning people which is understandable because everyone has their moments. As I walked in 3 other people in the drive through orders were wrong too. I was like omg yeah Iâm going to stick to my two san jose ones. I only came to this one because it was the closest from my current location. First time I left where I didnât feel like it was a great day at chick Fil A. Believe me Iâm an unofficial chick Fil A ambassador ( I never say bad things ever) my boss often tells me I should work for them considering how much I talk about how good they are and tell people to try new things there. So I am always team chick Fil a (just putting it out there). Just first time seeing staff not friendly and you could hear it on the intercom too in the drive through. My mom came to this one in the evening before and staff were friendly and she had a good experience but their morning staff may not be...
Read moreDO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS! This was the absolute worst experience I had in any place! I took my daughter there for lunch, and she said she wanted to potty (pre-schooler with small bladder) and she needed it now. So I rushed her to the men's bathroom, but the only stool there was occupied. I did anyone with common sense would have done and took her to the women's bathroom and use the stool there. A few minutes later, their "operation director" came up to me and started asking why I was in the women's bathroom. I explained the emergency, and he started talking about some worker there felt her privacy was violated. Apparently they would rather kids pee or poop on the floor! This operation director got more and more aggressive as I explain the situation, and keep saying I know I'm not supposed to go in there. So I asked so why didn't they have a family bathroom, and he started to doge the question by saying I can ask any woman there to take my daughter to the bathroom. How ridiculous! When does chick-fil-A started blaming the customers? A simple family bathroom could solve all these issues, yet they spent 15 mins lecturing the customer for a preschooler's bathroom emergency! What a snowflake manager and place Again, DO NOT GO THERE IF...
Read moreHave been to this locations many times now, gotta say my experience has been very inconsistent. The employees are not trained in addition to the often cold food. On the employee training, I would usually have a server who doesn't know how to look at the screen for orders or doesn't even know what A Sunjoy (half lemonade half tea) is. This is on their menu and I didn't make up the name, so it is ridiculous. The server asked me what a Sunjoy is... Very sad to say, Chick-fil-A used to be my favorable fast food goto before I moved to the Bay area, but I will stop going there now.
The drive thru is the worst, it backed up 90% of the time and just out of control. From where I came from, they (other CFA locations) had employees taken orders in advance during business hours and navigate the traffic within the property, so things keep moving. Here, you can be stuck in silence for 20 minutes or more, easy! Heck! Should have gone to somewhere else by that time!
Their setup is super inefficient both pick up and drive thru. Lotz to improve at this...
