Gerald Peters Gallery employees are hostile, invasive and profile their guests. We were there for an event and from the start we were uncomfortable. The employee who met us at the door was uniformed and aggressive. She was unorganized and short with guests.
Later in the evening I was followed outside and watched while trying to cool off and visit with an old friend. The same employee hovered over us and when asked for privacy again became aggressive.
Later in the evening they closed bathrooms from overuse. Guests watched them water down drinks. This was a group of doctors, professors, and other professionals.
Everything about this gallery was wrong. The guests were continually treated poorly by the staff. There are better art galleries with much kinder humans. This was the only really bad experience in Santa Fe. I recommend avoiding Gerald...

Peters introduced me to staff members who were very personable and professional. I was allowed special access to the basement which took me back to my childhood memories of Indiana Jones and the Lost Arc. After which we viewed the current art pieces on display in various rooms.
