Video Library Inc — Local services in Santa Fe

Awesome video store-needs competitive business model. I'd love to see this store succeed but I don't see how it will with their current state of operations.

It is run like a video store in the heyday of video rental. Also they seem to have too much inventory which just makes the store seem cluttered and overwhelming.

A monthly unlimited membership fee would help them a lot I think, as would longer check outs (it's currently only 2 days with a day grace period, again a throwback to 90's video store rental policies).

Also, staff was sweet, but two staffers on at 5 on a Tuesday night seems superfluous, especially in 2019. Need to accept and understand who and what they're competing with. I wish them luck as I hope they make the necessary changes to stay afloat. Love that I can...

This place is awesome! It has been my 'go to' place for movies and hard to find cinema classics for many years here in Santa Fe. The owner Lisa is so friendly and knowledgeable and always has a moment to discuss films with you. I so hope her shoppe stays open as it is a dying thing in this online world.
