Alec's Planetarium Tours — Attraction in Santa Monica

Literally, out of this world. I haven't laughed (or cried) that much in a long time. Line was out the door when I arrived for my 9:30 showing, but that was to be expected based on previous reviews, so it didn't bother me. In fact, the suspense leading up to the show was half the fun! The planetarium is located underneath some tech startup live work space (or something weird like that lol) and everyone there was SUPER friendly and welcoming. I'm even applying to one of their summer internship positions now 🤞. All in all, fantastic show full of surprises, laugh out loud humour, and attractive entertainers. 10/10 will see again if...

Alec's Planetarium Tours is quite possibly the best planetarium experience I've ever had, and let me tell you I've had more than my fair share. From the excellent customer service to the classy and refined decor, Alec's Planetarium Tours will transport you to another world, literally! Alec, the guide and owner, will take you through the stars as you visit the wonders and awes of our very own solar system (and beyond!)

Make sure you take your shoes off before you enter, because otherwise your socks will be blown right...

Alec's Planetarium is really a special experience. As a huge fan of the Planetarium at Griffith Observatory, I wasn't sure if it would meet my expectations. But it was everything and more. The doses of comedy that Alec inserts into the show really give it that extra piece that's missing from other planetarium shows. He is absolutely hilarious, yet still extremely knowledgable.
