If you're considering booking a stay at Vitorjja, DO IT!
I stayed there in early January 2024 for a weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends in Venice. From the minute I walked in the door to the minute I checked out it was a thoughtful, warm and easy experience.
Eric, the Manager at Vitorjja, greeted me at the door with a kind and welcoming energy and a TON of passion and knowledge about the hotel and Venice itself. He showed me three room types to help me decide which to choose. I ended up choosing one of the second floor suites and it was divine. The views were amazing!
The bedding, towels and robes were super comfortable. The room was clean with a kettle for tea (plus the tea) and a coffee maker. They offered to pick up any snacks I ordered from their affiliated market as there is a cooktop and full size fridge in the suite I stayed in.
I travel a lot for both work and pleasure and while aesthetic is important to me, service is the key. The team at Vitorjja had both aesthetic and service down. For example, one of the wheels of my suitcase had ripped nearly off as I deboarded my flight that day. When I asked Eric for some duct tape to fix it so it would last my trip he offered to fix it with some epoxy. It's lasted me a whole other trip! When my Uber arrived at check out, Eric came out and helped me with my bags - a great finish to the stay.
There really are too many moments of great service to list so if you're looking for excellent service, a great location at the beach, a comfortable sleep, and breakfast at Gjusta, look no further. I will stay at Vitorjja every time I visit Venice Beach.

Read moreUnfortunately I cannot recommend this place. Stayed at multiple places in Venice Beach in the past and wanted to try out this new hotel as I liked the restaurant. The hotel has rather motel/hostel/guest house vibes than a boutique hotel, with 0 amenities in the queen room where we stayed (no TV, no safe, no desk, no fridge, not even a wardrobe to store your clothes) so feels more like 2. The bathroom sink is literally next to the bed. The room was cold, the bathroom even colder with no heating and the staff was not helpful with that issue. Definitely recommend staying at other hotels in the neighborhood where you get an actual room with amenities and services you would expect from 4hotel at similar prices. Plus it’s difficult to fit 2 persons in the room so would recommend staying there alone if all you need is bed and bathroom and have minimum baggage (we travelled with 3 medium size suitcases and with no storage/wardrobe it was very challenging to move around the room). The location is great and everything was clean (which makes sense given the place is new) but would be great to show better photos of the rooms and be honest about what you offer to avoid...
Read moreI absolutely enjoyed my stay at Vittorja! I love that it was not a national brand hotel. That makes the experience much more personal.
I inquired about a baby crib over the phone and they automatically upgraded me! The GM said he did this to give me more space with my child and I appreciated that. Everyone that works at this establishment is warm and inviting.
The room: It was like a mini apartment. Two burner stove, toaster over, full size refrigerator, tea kettle, sofa, dining room table, walk in shower and king bed. The decor was nice as well.
Parking!: Parking is a little crazy. The hotel site let's you know there is no parking set for the hotel. So I would suggest going to Safety Park (their signs are in blue) and pay for one of their overnight parking spaces. Disclaimer: it's not cheap. I paid 120 for 4 days. They do however have parking spaces right behind the hotel. There are not many spaces for street parking and traveling with my infant I didn't want to be too far away from the hotel.
The hotel is super close to the beach and the boardwalk! 1 minute walk and you're there!
I will visit this hotel without a...
