Read moreThis was the absolutely worst year of the blind scream I've ever been to. The actors were less than enthusiastic to be there. And it seemed like there were a ton missing. When we were there tonight there were about 5 actors that were walking back and forth in the tunnels in street clothing. There was absolutely no pacing of guests so even though we "went in" with our group, they were sending in people one right after another and by the time we got to the first room we ran in to a bunch of people. So we tried to hang back in the room to wait for them to move ahead. Where the actor told us that was not allowed. And as soon as we got the next maze a group of 5 were on our tail. We were not allowed to linger at all even for a moment in any of the rooms to even appreciate the decor or attempt to figure out what rooms were what. There were multiple cutouts in the walls where it seemed like there should have been someone waiting to scare us. But there never was. The "blind" aspect was completely gone. Everything was completely visible. This was a complete disappointment. Even in Line, usually the actors wondering around interact with the guest. They all stood huddled together and talked amongst themselves. I can honestly say, not once did I jump, or feel my heart race increase. Which is the whole point. I finally convinced my husband and our 2 friends to go with me this year, because I usually talk it up every time. To say shocked was an...
Read moreMaybe I was spoiled in Utah and Alabama, but this was as expensive as any other haunted house I've been to, only with none of the scares or quality. It seemed really temporary (it may well be a temporary construction) but some of it seemed like it could just have had a little more effort put in, like paint the plywood walls black so it's not bare wood. The actors were fine, not much energy and very few scares. Lots of opportunities that weren't capitalized upon - why cut holes in the walls if you're not going to use them? Fairly short, walked through in under 10 mins. Either way, I wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for a tamer scare (perhaps a bit more...
