I was really disappointed by the customer service that I received today from Kade at the Saratoga Springs location. I walked in the store at 9:58 am. He was very snappy and said “we aren’t open wait outside until we open”. No big deal, the store would open in 2 minutes,so me and my toddler went outside. I took my toddler to the store next door to grab him a donut while we waited. We walked back into the store and Kade was sweeping. He asked what I needed help with and I told him I needed my screens replaced, my front screen and my camera screen cover. I had told him my baby due any day now and the crack in the camera screen was making my photos fuzzy. He said they were out. No big deal. While we was repairing my front screen I looked down and noticed my toddler spilled a couple sprinkles on the floor. I said “I’m so sorry my toddler spilled a couple sprinkles on the floor do you have anything I can clean them up with” he proceeded to give me paper towels. So at 9 months pregnant I got on my hands and knees cleaning up the couple of sprinkles my toddler dropped on the floor that was right next to Kades pile of debris that he was sweeping earlier. Meanwhile Kade watched me struggle on the floor while repairing my screen. I paid for my screen protector and left feeling really disappointed in how rude and short he was through out our encounter as well as the lack of human decency. I called the Lehi location and spoke to a really nice woman who apologized and said she would leave a message to the manager and they would make it right because I didn’t deserve to be treated like that today. I later received a phone call from Kade. Kade explained to me he is the manager and would like to receive feedback about our encounter. I explained how he made me feel and he was very condescending and rude and said “well your child made the mess and you offered to clean it and I was busy”. I tried to explain that it would have been really nice if he would have offered to clean up the couple of sprinkles on the floor because he had the broom out and he was in the middle of sweeping anyways rather than make a 9 month pregnant woman get on her hands and knees and try to mop of the couple of sprinkles with a paper towel. Read moreIncredibly disappointed in this product and the customer service was sub par. I purchased a new S24 Ultra from AT&T and heard great things about Zagg products as a screen protector. I headed to this location first thing on a Monday just before our Thanksgiving vacation, we were scheduled to be gone for 2 weeks. halfway through our vacation tiny air bubbles started to appear under the screen protector, I figured I would just deal with it after our vacation when I returned home.
Once I had returned home I visited the store and pointed out the air bubbles which looked to be to be caused by either delamination or poor installation. My Wife had her new 24 Ultra protector installed the day after I did before our vacation and she has absolutely no issues with hers. this leads me to believe it was a faulty product and associated with the product adhesive itself causing the delamination.
The bothersome part regarding the customer service aspect was the gentleman working at this location told me there was only a 2 week free replacement guarantee. I explained this was never expressed at the time of purchase and installation and I had been on vacation the last 2 weeks making it impossible for me to get here in that time frame. The gentleman responded that I should call and notify them with in the 2 week period which is ridiculous, the burden of responsibility should not lay with the customer when they receive a bad product. He agreed and replaced it for me free of charge.
Here I am now and with in 4 weeks the same issue is occurring. Based on my previous encounter with Zagg I am expected to pay to have this screen replaced when I have yet to receive a quality enough product in the first place.
