We recently had our daughter’s 11 birthday party at Clueless Escape Rooms. What a blast! We had never done one before and weren’t sure what to expect. The girls had such a fun, bonding time solving the puzzle to save Tony! We also rented the very reasonably priced party room and the host was fantastic! There was a fridge for the cake, she helped us with balloons and overall was just incredibly accommodating and kind as we had some attendees arrive late due to worsening road conditions. I am already envisioning us going as a whole family as well as for a date night! WAY more fun, engaging and memorable than a movie. Thank you Clueless Escape Rooms!

10/10 would recommended coming here for a fun evening or day event! We did the Virtual Reality escape room the first time and were thrilled with our experience. It was challenging but also good for players of all skill levels. The second time I came back we tried the ‘Save Tony’ real escape room where and were stumped with mental decoding and puzzles requiring us to utilize our hints to escape! Great for a family evening or a group of friends looking for something new to try on a given day!

My family had a BLAST at our first escape room experience! My youngest was just able to participate at 7 (you need to be able to read fairly well). The Save Tony game was so clever and the puzzles were a lot of fun for our mix of kids and adults. We made it with 1 second to spare on the clock! Clueless is a small business in Ann Arbor that conceives and designs their game rooms. They’re so welcoming!

Unprofessional, mean and completely negative to my kids. Also bare feet and unsanitary. I was SO devastated when I took my daughter and her friends for her 13th birthday. It was all she wanted to do, and we trusted and supported this as our choice. From the moment the kids walked in, she was annoyed and made several comments about them not being able to make it through any of them and kept pushing for the dirty sand box one that they'd have to take their shoes off. My daughter didn't want her shoes off, which made it even more gross that the owner walked around the entire time with no shoes on. She rolled her eyes at the girls when they said "we would rather have a bigger challenge and have fun so we are ok with difficult". She made comments ON THE SCREEN about how they were taking too long and would give hints when they didn't ask because she said they weren't getting it. She was mad that they used the wrong key and needed a reminder (which I as the adult did give them a reminder) and when it was all over she opened the door and complained to them about how they were using the wrong key and it "was driving her crazy". My girls kept saying "this lady hates us so much" which made me so sad. They left talking about how dumb she obviously thought they were. It made me sick. I don't ever want them to feel dumb or uninvited, and this was really expensive to just feel so sad and disappointed in...

Dont Waste Your Money!!!! I have been to 75+ escape rooms in Michigan and this is by far the worst place I've ever been. The staff was so rude. The clues were not helpful and made us waste alot of time. They clearly were not paying attention to us at all. You can't use an intercom or walkie talkies to ask any questions or say what you are stuck on, instead everyone raises a hand and gets whatever clue they want to give even if its not helpful at all,, or something we had already figured out. They will not let you stay in the room and finish. Which is the most surprising disappointment, every room I've ever been to elsewhere will let us finish if we only have a few minutes longer to play. When I brought this up to staff I was treated to so poorly and given a dirty look and told no one does that. WELL I CAN CONFIRM THAT IS NOT TRUE as I have done so many escape rooms in many differnt locations around Michigan. Other establishments will also have rooms booked right after us, but they leave a small gap of time for players to finish or to go over the room with the game master. Also the staff didn't seem to enjoy escape rooms at all. They seem very unhappy to be there. Usually we can't wait to comeback to visit an establishment. And love our game masters. Not the case here!!! Escape Room...

Unprofessional. When I called Clueless to confirm a booking for the same evening, the woman who answered the phone first told me that she couldn't find my reservation. There then seemed to be a connection issue, since she asked the same question three times in a row without waiting for/hearing my response. Once she could hear me again, I gave her all my information. She then found my reservation (I didn't receive the confirmation since I had mis-typed my email address), but informed me that she didn't like my "tone", and would refund the charge and cancel my reservation (for the same day!). This was quite stressful, since I had been planning the event for 8 people for about a month. Maybe something else was going on in her life, but it is really unprofessional to pick a fight with a customer over the phone (based on a perceived intonation). The owner grudgingly agreed to honor the reservation after I apologized repeatedly and told her how inconvenient it would be to cancel, but made it clear that we were not welcome. After thinking it over, I called back to cancel. I normally don't write negative reviews, but this was a very unpleasant/unnecessarily stressful experience. I'll be going with one of the other local escape...
