One of the worst Archdiocese I've been a part of. Pews are emptying, churches are closing and communities/ministries are weak because of such poor leadership. The Archdiocese leadership seems more committed towards promoting progressive politics versus actual church teaching (women's ordination, gay marriage) hence an aversion towards actual ministries and evangelization efforts.
Take a hint from SF where I moved from where most churches are vibrant AND keep strict to Church dogma/doctrine. Their Archbishop (Cordileone) is outstanding and a true defender of the faith. Take that liberal racism and entitlement elsewhere - we don't need that in the Catholic...
Read moreNot only did the Archbishop take away our Mass for several months, he and his staff ignored and hurt several people and parishes during the last year. The Archbishop has shown zero pastoral care for our Catholic communities, which he has controlled with his unreasonable demands and actions. There are many issues, but one of the saddest is seeing our bishops become slaves to the world. Anyone who is curious about the Etienne family should look up, Bernie Etienne, from Indiana. There is a fairly current...

From what I’ve seen, they are doing their best to serve the community and adapt with compassion and integrity. Declining attendance is a trend across many faiths and isn't a reflection on the efforts or intentions of the...
