Pier 62 — Attraction in Seattle

I was booked to do sound baths on this pier and it is absolutely magical! Friends of Seattle Waterfront has done a beautiful job making this a place where you definitely want to stop and take in the view. It is down further than a lot of the attractions and ferry terminals so it’s quite peaceful and there are big chairs and tables to sit and enjoy. I can imagine taking some food you got from the farmers market and trekking over to here to enjoy it. There’s a small turf soccer patch and life-size chess board that are fun to play. There are bathrooms and there is water although that might be locked up when the pier closes, if the pier closes that is. If you check the schedule online, you’ll see that there are great activities throughout the summer, including Zumba, yoga, dance...

Is it the organizers' fault that over 1500 showed up for Chinese New Year 2023 celebration but only about 75 people got to see the main attraction, Lion Dance, drums and cymbals? YES. Poorly planned. It isn't hard to get a stage so that everyone gets to see and enjoy this special day. Btw, the lion troop was late to their own party, again, is this their fault? So many kids had to sit on the shoulders of their parents, so many folks had extended camera sticks to record what they could not see. Come on guys! Any 1st year rookie organizer/ event planner could see this coming and would have set up an elevated platform so that 90% of the crowd would have a good experience

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Behold...

Visited this place yesterday. It was so relaxing. There was some games like cornhole, checkers, and even a small soccer field to play on. There is many places to sit including tables with chairs. The sunset was really beautiful there. There was checkers but no chess... Someone threw the chess pieces into Puget Sound. Ik that is ridiculous. Now they are buying new ones. There was also a dance class going on while we were there. We were there from about 7:30 PM western time to 8:30 PM western time. The aquarium is also nearby which i went to on the same day. Will write a review about that. Overall this place is pretty underrated. Really sceinic sunset and a lot of things to do. Probably...
