I cannot say enough amazing things about this bridal boutique and especially the owner, Yasmin. If you are searching for the perfect wedding dress or any formal gown, STOP LOOKING and come here! From the moment I walked into the store, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for—not just as a customer, but as someone going through one of the most important decisions of my life.

Yasmin is truly one-of-a-kind. She is patient, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and so attentive to your needs. I came in with a lot of insecurities, unsure of what I wanted, and she took the time to truly listen. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured—she spent over three hours with me, carefully guiding me through the process and helping me find my dream dress. At first, I thought I had found “the one,” but something about it just didn’t feel 100% right. Instead of pushing me toward a sale, Yasmin immediately picked up on my concerns and quickly worked to find a dress that addressed every little issue I had. And let me tell you—she NAILED IT.

Yasmin has an incredible eye for detail and truly understands how to dress every body type beautifully. She wasn’t just handing me random gowns—she was explaining why certain features would work for me (for example, she pointed out how longer straps would help elongate my top half, which made a huge difference for my body shape, especially as someone with a larger chest). It’s this level of expertise and care that makes her stand out. She doesn’t just sell dresses; she curates an experience and ensures that every bride walks away feeling confident and radiant.

Unfortunately, after finding my dream dress, I later discovered through my family that wearing white is actually not accepted in my culture—it is associated with funerals, which broke my heart because I had truly found “the one.” I was devastated. I reached out to Yasmin, fully expecting to be met with a strict “all sales final” policy, as most bridal stores have. Instead, she showed me the most incredible understanding and kindness. Even though the designer’s policy is strictly no cancellations, Yasmin immediately reassured me that she would do everything in her power to help. She took it upon herself to personally speak with the designer to see if anything could be done. That kind of above-and-beyond service is RARE, especially in an industry where most bridal shops see you as just another transaction.

THIS is the kind of care and dedication every bride deserves. Yasmin is genuine, honest, and truly invested in making sure her brides feel confident and happy. It’s not just about making a sale for her—it’s about making sure each person walks away feeling their absolute best.

First I will say the experience of trying on the dress was amazing she did a great job. My complaints are that I wasn’t allowed to try on a dress as they pulled it to be held to seal the sample to a different bride. I fell in love with my dress that was out of my price range and would barely get in time if ordered but I wasn’t allowed to buy the sample because a dress was in production. It’s $500 to ship my dress which seems obsurd when buying something from their store that they carry. Additionally part of loving my dress was that I could add :3d appliqués to it that were on a different dress. They confirmed I could order them before agreeing to buy the dress but didn’t need to order the appliqués until my dress arrived. Once my dress was here I was thentold I couldnt and had to pick another appliqué for my dress. So I just found my own at that point to save money. Trying to make an appointment to get my dress Fitted was an even bigger nightmare and then double booked after I already moved my work schedule around. So we have outsourced to a recommended alterations specialist. The dress I fell in love with isn’t going to be the dress I walk down the aisle In. As I’m getting a fight dress 1 size to big To fit tight against your body now isn’t going well at all and there’s no time left before my wedding to continue to make adjustments.

Update: wedding was 9/17. I’m sorry did I not include handling with the shipping? It was a ridiculous price In my opinion but will with draw the price I posted as I’ve thrown away my own receipt since the wedding. However I do understand that not all dresses are available to purchase off the rack. My real issues were being promised appliqués that were a make it or break it deal for me and that I was later told when my dress arrived I couldn’t purchase and then rearranging my work schedule and still had to reschedule alterations so had to be outsourced for alterations. The final product of my dress was a fail. Over a month later and I’m still crying. It was too big after several alterations. The shoulders on my dress fell off my entire wedding and the bustle never lasted more than 10 minutes I ended up carrying my dress the entire time. There were more things wrong but that was with alterations and the big frustration was wanting where my dress was purchased to do alterations but I couldn’t keep rescheduling work. I came almost 7 months before wedding. That was the ideal time told and this dress arrived in July before my wedding in September so in time to have had the option to been tailored which is why I rearranged work to get there. I’m updating my review now. Hope in a year find someone fix this dress to fit properly so I can take nice pictures...

I've always dreamed of the day of getting engaged to the LOML, planning a wedding, and of course- finding a wedding dress! I am SO glad that I found my dream dress at Samila Boutique. This boutique is hands down the cutest place with the absolute best service- I will not recommend any other place for brides to go (and trust me, I've been to almost all the shops in the area)! :)

I was about to schedule an appointment with Samila when Covid-19 hit and everything was closed, but Yasmin and I immediately connected through Instagram! We talked for MONTHS about one specific dress and I cannot thank Yasmin enough for her time answering my questions, helping me come up with ideas, and even sketching out the dress for me! I've never felt so understood by someone I haven't ever met before- she's my true Fairy Gown Mother!

We ended up scheduling a virtual appointment in the midst of quarantine, and my mom and I had such a great time! Yasmin answered all of our questions, showed us THE dress along with others, and made the experience super fun (even though it was through Zoom).

Past forward to this last month, my family and I finally came in to see Yasmin. It was seriously the highlight of my summer! The shop is SUPER clean and everything was just sparkling! I put on the dress and literally stayed in it for an hour while Yasmin accessorized me with different style veils and helped me to customize/design the dress to my liking- it was beautiful and the experience was such a dream.

My parents are super important to me and Yasmin made sure they both felt comfortable and always included them throughout the entire process. I appreciated that SO much! During the first appointment, my dad found the "I said yes to the dress" sign and handed it to me before I could even say yes! I guess that's when you just know for sure that the dress is the one. During the car ride home, they kept complimenting Yasmin's expertise, service, and just overall personality. They absolutely ADORED her!

I wanted to come back with my little brother to have the whole family there when I said yes, and Yasmin was quick to schedule an appointment just days after the first appointment for us to come in again on a day that worked best for us. We had the whole boutique to ourselves (which is also another super nice thing about Samila) and had such a good time.
