Five Stars and Super Savvy: This Thai Spot Is Worth the Trip

I’ve got a friend who lives just a few miles from here, but at this point, we’re both questioning whether I come to visit him or the restaurant. Spoiler alert: I might not be so sure myself...

Every time I come here, we end up having the same hilarious moment: me halfway through the meal, realizing again that I forgot to take a picture because the food’s just that good. This time? Same thing. I managed a couple of “mid-bite” photos, but only because I forced myself to pause. That should tell you everything.

Let’s talk about the Pad Woon Sen - glass noodles cooked to perfection with just the right amount of chew, stir-fried with fresh veggies and flavor that somehow keeps getting better with every bite. The crispy garlic chicken is golden, crunchy, savory bliss. Not greasy. Not soggy. Just straight-up amazing.

And then there’s the mango sticky rice, which isn’t just good but rather it’s an authentic trip down memory lane. I’ve had this dish in Thailand, and this is the only place in the U.S. that nails it like they do.

Bonus points: a friend of ours ordered a dish that wasn’t even on the menu, just described it offhand, and the kitchen whipped it up without missing a beat. That’s when you know this place is the real deal.

So whether you’re five minutes away, flying out of Sea-Tac, or sitting on a long layover, do yourself a flavor favor and get over here. Uber if you have to. Borrow your grandma’s bike. Doesn't matter how you arrive, just arrive hungry.

Flavor: Insane Service: Friendly and fast Spice: I went with “White Boy One Star” (translation: 0.7 stars Thai heat) and it still brought a bit of the fire Repeat visit: 100%—I’m basically a loyalty member now

Come for the food. Stay for the flavor explosion. Tell ‘em the guy with no food photos sent you. Just kidding! I attached photos this time 🙂 better...

I hate writing this review because the food is good…UNFORTUNATELY tonight I found a cockroach in my food again (it’s the second time). Six months ago I ordered from here and found the bug in my pad Thai and swore them off. Tonight I was craving Thai so decided to take a chance on them again (what were the chances that it would happen twice?!?!)… I was disgusted that a LIVE roach crawled out of my box of fresh rolls, unsure if there were bugs in the rest of my dinner as I wouldn’t eat it. So gross, I will never eat here again. I know bugs are a reality of restaurants, but getting a roach in your food twice in 6 months (with only 2 orders being placed) is inexcusable. Clean up your kitchen...

We ordered one time and It was just okay. Everything we ordered were very sweet like a typical Thai food made for American. Wife ordered Pad See Ew and it was very saucy and not in a good way. The sauce was very salty and very very sweet. Had me constantly reached for water. Beef salad I ordered was also very sweet and sweet only—-not at all like it should be. It tasted more like stirred fried beef with a side lettuce when it should have been more spicy, citrusy Thai salad.

I just want to say that it’s very okay for Thai restaurants to make Thai food like how they actually would have made for Thai people. What we ordered...

Authentic Thai flavor. We walked in and were greeted enthusiastically and felt welcomed right away. The space is colorful with minimum decoration. There is a fun fish tank in the middle of the dinning area with tropical fish. There is also outside sitting with tables and chairs set on the grass. We ordered green curry and larb salad, we like our food spicy and got 4 out of 5 spice level, and oh boy they delivered on the heat level. Both dishes had a lot of flavor and were just the right amount. Prices are on the lower end for such quality. When in West Seattle this is a must go spot for casual dinning.

Thai cuisine at its best with delicate yet complex flavors that make you smile. This place offers a good variety of dishes and the two we tried Tom Ka and the Ultimate fried rice were delicious. Both spicy based on what you ordered you get a choice on the spice level if any. The flavors were so rich and it complemented each other. We paired the dishes with some of their Thai beers and just made me do the food dance. This is a cool and chill place to enjoy some good grub with family or friends. Overall a great experience come and see them you will leave so happy.
