I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Des this past year. As an esthetician in the industry as well as one of her clients, I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her practice. Dr. Des has an approach that is thoughtful, honest, and the results are superlative and incomparable to previous treatments I have received in the past from others. My confidence throughout this year has boosted in a way that I never thought I would feel, I will never go to anyone else for my aesthetic injections.

My most valued aspect of her approach is her wish to enhance your natural beauty. Her holistic mindset transfers into her practice, I instantly felt safe in her presence. After my first treatment, I knew that my loyalty to her would be perpetual. The results were something I never thought I could achieve. She is incredibly knowledgeable, her passion for what she does is unmistakable and her compassionate approach made me feel incredibly seen and understood.

I have done both Xeomin and Daxxify (neurotoxins) with her, as well as RHA lip enhancement. Before, I was getting Botox for years and receiving an astronomical amount with minimal results. The first Xeomin session with her, she used a “micro-tox” method and did a quarter of what I used to receive when using Botox - the results left me in awe. Soft and natural, she was able to lift and target specific areas without making me look artificial. Recently I tested Daxxify with her, a new neurotoxin in the aesthetic industry and I am just as in love with it as I am with Xeomin. I have a fast metabolism, and both neurotoxins have lasted twice the amount of time as previous injections I was receiving. Daxxify results usually show within the first 5 days, for me personally I see results within 2. They’re both wonderful options, during her thorough consult she helps you decide and understand what the best option will be for you and your desired results.

My last sentiment is her amazing eye and technique with lip enhancements. She used RHA on mine, I was incredibly nervous due to the stigmas of society and not wanting to look overdone as a personal preference. She not only made me look completely natural, the experience was nearly painless (something I also was nervous about). My lips look hydrated, with the perfect plump I was hoping for. Truly exceeded my vision while also communicating throughout the procedure to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the results at the end.

Overall, Dr. Des is a beacon of light and talent. I made an online appointment for a consultation with Dr. Desiree Wood. The website is user friendly, informative and easy to navigate.

Seattle Beauty is easy to find, and miracle of miracles convenient parking is readily available. The office is welcoming; not intimidating.

Before the consultation I had done some research and was tentatively thinking about Morpheus8 treatments. The consultation with Dr. Des explored what the various skin treatments do, what they target; and expected results. We had a friendly open discussion. No oversell and no pressure. Dr. D. also introduced me to a line of excellent skin care products. Revision products are not only easy to use, but the products are also cruelty-free; no animal testing. Believe me, cruelty-free, effective skin care is not easy to find.

We decided Morpheus8 would be the best fit for what I wanted to achieve. Dr. Des reached out to me after the consultation and before treatment asking if I had any questions. She prepared me for what to expect during and after the treatment.

One week later and I’ve had my first treatment.

With liberally applied topical numbing cream, the Morpheus8 treatment does have its “uncomfortable” moments. Pre-procedure Dr. D was very up front about the potential discomfort. During the procedure she was very dialed in as to how I was feeling. She frequently asked how I was doing and whether I needed to “take a break”. I’m not sure what I expected to look like immediately post procedure, scary came to mind, but I looked relatively normal; some redness, and just a tiny bit of puffiness.

Day 1 Post Procedure: Again Dr., D prepared me for what to expect. A little bit of redness; 1 small bruise and a few tiny scabs. Nothing to keep me hiding indoors. With lots of sunblock I plan to go out and do my usual activities.
