My wife and I went there last Monday February 21, 2022. The store was very well replenished with items. The ladies at the counter where very friendly. However, there was a gentleman hovering over us like a hawk, quite noticeable. He made us feel very, very uncomfortable. I understand that the store apparently has suffered from shoplifting in the past but we have never in our lives have felt so accosted by the way he was keeping an eye on us. And what he didn't know is that I know some Korean. He scolded my wife for wearing a head scarf that she had already bought. I don't think we will ever go back there again.
**Response to the owner - Dear owner, we appreciate your response. The only way we would give you another chance is if the man who works there (he might be an owner as well) at your store admits he has issues with trust, and, that he is wrong in behaving the way he does. We are not one of those people who think that the customer is always right, that is incorrect, however, we do expect a reasonable degree of respect and dignity when a customer enters through your door of business. Keep vigilant, keep on the lookout for shoplifters, but do not make us as customers feel uncomfortable by the way this person behaves when we had an absolutely nothing wrong. He was dry, he was rude, he was unfriendly.
When my wife and I go back to Seattle after a 3-hour long drive we might give you another chance and update this post with...
Read moreI went natural to avoid going into Asian owned beauty supply stores and today I had the experience that i have been trying to avoid. I purchased hair on Sat and asked for the return policy, 3 days for unused products for exchange only. To my surprise, I was told (on tuesday) that i could not exchange one of the items because it had been used. The person told me that I had opened and cut the product and then went and got another one to show me it wasnt in original condition. I stated it was the condition in which it was sold to me bc it had been sitting in my car since sat. He refused my exchange and continued to pull the hair to show me its not in original condition. I hate to say this but I would rather shop on Amazon then go back here. If you do go back, ensure you inspect your purchase bc they sell used product then refuse to do an exchange. I think of the viral tiktok story about Eben hair care. As a Black woman I intentionally try to buy my beauty products from Black owned brands and stores because I know that Asian owned beauty supply stores intentionally target Black women and...
Read moreThe stOre is great! It's tailored to black women, but there's stuff for all races, sexes and ages! The owners are very nice and they seem to work there as well. I thank them for running a store that provides foR ethnic people. The culture in Washington is not tailored to ethnic people, it took me years and years to find a familiar spot like this. They're all over the place in Texas and las Vegas. I'm so happy I found them!! Thank you.
The only thing I can ask is if you keep up with your wig lace glue. The wig tape is great too, but my favorite which you didn't have last time I went a few days ago, it's the olive oil one medium sized bottle liquid, green Black and white clear bottle, I forgot the name, they have it on Amazon too, but sometimes I need it fast and I want to support my...
