I have gone to this food bank multiple times everyone is always super nice. But today (Thursday July 2nd, 2020) I spoke with a woman named Maureen about possibly helping me and my kids with a personal matter and/or a gas card for $25 to get me to Tucson. She was so mean to me and so rude and so nasty for no reason and I was in tears by the time I left. I could not even believe or understand how this happened. I then called Felicia, she is always kind and helpful when I call here, and I told her what happened. I wasn’t upset that Maureen said no she couldn’t help me but rather the treatment and cruelness that I encountered with her. Felicia apologized on her behalf and was surprised to hear this. I understand people have bad days and get triggered, we all do. But this should not have happened and should never happen to anyone, especially not from someone who works at a church and their very job is to help the local families of Sedona who are in need. So I choose to release my harsh judgements of Maureen and send her love anyway. Maybe on her lunch break she can go inside to the alter and pray...
