It's not a bad store, but I wanted to tell this story. I was running late on a Wednesday night to visit the store, so I get there 10 minutes before closing. The store is well organized so that in about 2-3 minutes I can look at the places I usually look, see if there is anything new, make my choice, and either bite or not. When I walked in, there was one employee helping two customers together. He didn't notice me walk in, but when he did, he said "if you know what you want, that's fine, but if you are going to browse, then leave." This is, again, with 10 minutes left, and I even told him I knew he was closing and was going to be quick. But he still went on, also saying "I used to say that when I worked at GameStop as well." I understood it was late and was well aware of the time, but if you have the open sign on, don't criticize people for coming in, just tell them at 8 "I'm sorry, we are closed, you have to leave now." I would have gratefully accepted that. Usually, I can take my time at this store and the people there are nice and pleasant, but unfortunately this was not one of...
Read moreHorrible place to buy current games. And just as bad as GameStop when it comes to trading games. They claim to give you more for your games compared to gamestop but no... no way. And they only have one register so I had to wait inline for about 30 mins with the games I was practically forced to buy because they didn’t have the game I was looking for in the first place. All I know is that they need to update their games for the current consoles out right now. They only had about 5 different ps4 games to choose from... that’s right 5. I will not be coming back here EVER. Such a waste of time and its a shame because it’s a local game shop. But Jesus please update your ps4 collection or don’t even bother selling them. And oh yeah, don’t go here for PSN CARDS/XBOX CARDS. They do not have a license to sell those. Not everyone wants to buy retro games, think about that. You just lost a customer +...
Read morePretty decent selection and easy to browse. The staff is good. What I don't like about any of these game over stores is that you cannot purchase freshly traded in titles. All because they have to be sent to a "pricing manager" first. I think this is pretty discouraging. I recently visited the forum location and saw not 1 but 2 copies of futurama on ps2, a game I've sought after for a while. I could not purchase the game because it hadnt been sent off to the big bad micromanager yet. Even though I was in the store, had the money to pay and was willing to pay full price for the title. I'm sure there's a good reason why they have this rule but I think there should be a bit more autonomy with store managers and some kind of system that allows them to price a game and sell it asap. Especially sought...
